Swift Surge: A Force of Gridiron Grace

Writer: Kevin MosesKevin Moses

Jaelon Dixon @JaelonDixon , 5'9 , 170, c/o 25 RB from Klein Cain High School , TX  is a fierce back that brings a combination of speed , agility , and power to the field. He hits the lanes hard with explosive desire for a big play every time as a strong downhill runner with a low center of gravity that's hard to bring down. Jaelon always runs with purpose and looks for cutting lanes to gain even more yards , shifty  plainly put. With a high IQ and vision he sees lanes instantly as they open up and darts right into them.  Jaedlon is gifted at breaking tackles  and controlling the game at his own pace. Jaelon also has good hands out of the backfield. . Everytime Jaelon hits the field you're going to get passion and heart to succeed and thrive at being the best player on the field. His love and drive for this game leaves some thinking this kid is absolutely crazy about this game.He is like a swiss knife ready to be yield to carve out yards at will. Jaelon has every physical and mental tool to get the job done. This season he has 1072 All-Purpose yards on 120 carries with 17 TDS averaging 7.1 yards per carry.

Jaelon's biggest improvement  from last season is improved knowledge of the game. Processing and understanding that the defensive front  affects the way the linemen work and how to attack what he sees in those moments. Also how  the linebackers are lined up exposes or tips their hand to what's going to happen next and how to adjust on the fly within their fast paced offense.  This adjusted learning helped Jaelon break the school's record for the most yards in a single game with 282 yards. .

Jaelon sees himself playing D1 level football and why not.  A college can know with Jaelon they will get a  player that's  going to put his body on the line for the team , no matter who his teammates are clearly establishing at the end of the day you need all 11 guys  to be successful as a football team. . Jaelon's advice for  the players coming behind him is wait your turn but grind hard as if that time might be tomorrow. He believes in God's timing for all things and that everyone should not try to get ahead  of that timing. . God always has a plan for each of us and that plan is unique for every individual, everyone's story will be different in its own way.. Jaelon says you just gotta work hard and with a purpose for everything you do  and it will show and your time will come. Just be ready when it does.
