Dorian is a crafty, confident point guard who plays with energy, flash, and a high IQ. He’s a floor general who can light it up from the midrange, freeze defenders with a nasty handle, and throw thread-the-needle dimes that put his teammates in perfect position to score. His floater game is butter, and he sees the floor like a veteran, always a step ahead with the ball in his hands. Breaking down defenders off the bounce is his favorite part of the game, and when he’s cooking, he makes the court look like a stage. Whether it’s setting the pace, making the right read, or tossing a lob that brings the crowd to its feet, Dorian brings swagger and energy every time he steps on the floor.

This past season, he averaged 10 points, 5 assists, and a steal per game, showcasing his playmaking skills and ability to run the offense efficiently. His biggest improvement was his ball-handling, where he became more secure and comfortable under pressure. Off the court, he’s matured as well, learning not to take coaching criticism personally and using it to fuel his growth. This offseason, his focus is on fully embracing his role as a true point guard, pushing the tempo, facilitating with purpose, and taking command of the game. Next season, his eyes are locked in on becoming a bigger scoring threat and catching the attention of college programs with his development. Few things get him more fired up than crossing a defender and throwing a lob that gets the gym buzzing.

I assess that Dorian’s skill set as a lead guard makes him a valuable asset for any program that values tempo, creativity, and efficient guard play. His passing instincts and ability to penetrate and create scoring opportunities are major weapons, and his steady improvement shows that he’s coachable and hungry to evolve. His flair and confidence can bring energy and control to a college offense.

Expect Dorian to step into a bigger role as both a scorer and playmaker next season. As he continues to elevate his leadership and floor command, his potential to be a high-impact guard with game-changing presence is sky-high. He’s a true point guard on the rise, with flash, fire, and the foundation to take his game to the next level. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
