Paul is a crafty guard that can score on all three levels  who is extremely strong,and aggressive that gets to the basket at will with the IQ he uses to make the right reads.Paul is great finisher around the rim, with a consistent mid-range game, and knocks down the open 3. Paul is a very gritty defender.Paul understands when to score and when to facilitate as a smart sacrificial player. Paul understands his role on every given night and loves to win, even if that means he doesn't receive the credit.

This past season Paul averaged 11 points, 4rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal per game. The most motivating thing that happened last season that will push Paul moving forward was falling short in the semifinals of the state championship. That is making Paul focus on leading his team vocally and by action so that they can establish their name in history as NYC state champs. It's really pushing him everyday to not be in the same position this year. Winning a State Championship, winning the league championship (PSAA), and receiving a Division 2 offer will be Paul's goals this upcoming season.

On the court Paul's motivation is nothing more but to win the basketball game. In whatever way he is instructed by his coach, Paul will do it. Also just to show his potential in the game, prove that he belongs with the best.

Paul has experienced a lot of adversity in his life, and in the game. When adversity rises, Paul prays and goes back to the basics. Simple gets the job done. Little things like playing off of two feet and making the extra pass usually combat adversity very well.

Paul sees himself playing at the D2 level because of his skill, work ethic, and versatility on both sides of the ball. Paul can also see himself playing low D1 but the goal is any D2 school, and as an uncommitted senior it would be a blessing to be offered soon  

A coach can expect a coachable, respectful, and hard-working player in Paul. Someone who gives 110% in everything he does. A high academic individual (3.6 GPA) and overall high morale kid. Always in the gym working.  

I assess that this savvy young star is tough and gritty and a shot maker. The general that can thrive at the next level with that defense and IQ mixed with the array of skills and leadership he brings. Paul plans to have a statement season en route to that championship that opens some big doors for himself. We will be keeping a close eye on Paul . Stay tuned.
