Landon plays the game the way coaches love and teammates trust. No extra, no forced moments, just steady, smart basketball that keeps everything connected. He moves with purpose, reads the game as it unfolds, and makes the right play over and over again. His impact isn’t loud; it’s real. The kind that shows up in wins, in stops, in rebounds, in moments where everything needs to settle down and someone just does what’s needed.

This season wasn’t just big; it meant something. Being part of Wayne County’s first state tournament appearance and getting a win on that stage hit different. That wasn’t just another game; that was history. For Landon, it brought a level of belief that sticks with you. It showed that everything they were working toward was real, and it opened the door to what this program can become moving forward.

There was a point in the season where everything flipped. Midway through, the group found its rhythm and started clicking. The ball moved, the energy shifted, and they became a team that trusted each other fully. That stretch turned them into something different, a unit that played together, stayed connected, and started stacking wins.

Landon’s numbers tell part of the story: 596 career points, 281 rebounds, 76 assists, 48 steals, 21 blocks on 54% shooting, but it’s how those numbers come that stands out. He fills in the gaps, makes plays that matter, and finds ways to impact the game across the board. Earning 2nd Team All-Cardinal Conference as a freshman showed early that his game translates and that he belongs.

Adversity showed up, too. A five-game losing streak could’ve shaken everything, but instead of letting it break them, they stayed together and kept pushing. That stretch revealed a lot about Landon. He didn’t fold, didn’t drift, just stayed locked in and helped his team find its way back. His growth from the start of the season to now is deeper than what you see on the surface. The biggest improvement has been mental. Staying locked in, resetting quickly, and handling everything the game throws without losing focus. That kind of growth shows up in how consistent he is and how steady he stays, no matter the situation.

He describes his game as disciplined and team-first, and that’s exactly what it looks like. He’s always in the right place, making the right decision, and playing within what the game calls for. That’s what separates him. He’s not chasing plays; he’s letting the game come to him and responding the right way every time.

When the postseason came, and the lights got brighter, nothing changed for him. Same mindset, same approach. No matter how big the crowd or the moment, it was still basketball. That calm approach allowed him to stay grounded and deliver when it mattered most.

That state tournament win is something he’ll carry forever. Watching it all come together, seeing a goal turn into reality, and knowing they made history for their school, that’s a feeling that doesn’t fade. It’s something bigger than just one night, it’s a foundation for what’s next.

Now heading into AAU season, the focus is to keep growing, keep building his game, keep developing, and keep finding ways to bring more back to his team. There’s intention behind the work, not just playing, but getting better every time out. For coaches, what they’re getting is a hard-working, team-first player who will do whatever it takes to win. Someone who stays locked in, competes, and brings consistency every time he steps on the floor.

Off the court, that same discipline shows up. A 4.57 GPA in honors classes while taking on leadership roles and staying active in multiple organizations says everything about who he is. He’s building himself the same way he builds his game, with purpose and consistency.

And there’s still more ahead. Landon knows this is just the beginning. He believes in what they’re building, and he’s fully invested in where it’s going.

I assess that Landon brings a steady, all-around presence that impacts winning in real ways. He rebounds, defends, and makes smart decisions without forcing anything. His efficiency and ability to fill multiple roles give him real value, especially in systems that rely on trust and execution. He plays under control, stays connected to the team, and consistently makes plays that matter.

Landon’s game is built for long-term growth. As he continues to expand his offensive bag and build more confidence as a scorer, his impact will rise even more. What separates him is his mindset and consistency. Programs can expect a reliable piece who competes, stays disciplined, and continues to develop. His potential is strong, and with his approach to the game, he’s trending in the right direction to become a key contributor at the next level. Stay tuned.
