What stands out most is how calm he stays, never rushed, never sped up, trusting his reads and letting the game come to him.

Last season, Carter averaged 15 points per game while shooting a blistering 45% from three, establishing himself as a reliable perimeter threat. This year, he has continued to produce while embracing growth in other areas, averaging 10 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist per game and shooting 40% from deep. His biggest improvement has been leadership and his willingness to defend at a high level, taking pride in getting stops while still being aggressive offensively. Holding the program record for most threes made in a game with 9, he has shown his ability to catch fire and swing momentum in a hurry.

Carter’s goals this season have focused on getting stronger, improving defensively, and continuing his character development. What fuels him most is hitting shots and locking in on defense, finding energy in both sides of the ball. When facing adversity, he stays composed, focuses on what he can control, and avoids forcing the moment, a maturity that shows up consistently in his play.

Interest is building, with attention from a DI JUCO in Chicago, a Division III program in Texas, and an NAIA school in North Dakota, as coaches take note of his shooting, intensity, and steady approach.

Carter brings dependable shooting, composure, and defensive effort to a college program. His ability to stretch the floor, stay under control, and compete on both ends makes him a guard who can be trusted within the flow of the game.
