Kian is a rising young guard with the game, mindset, and numbers to match. As a freshman, he made serious noise on the varsity level with a game that’s both explosive and steady. He’s a crafty finisher who sees the floor well, makes smart plays, and brings a nonstop motor on defense. What stands out most is how active and involved he stays, on both ends. Whether he’s running the break, setting up teammates, or jumping passing lanes, Kian plays with purpose. He doesn’t try to do too much. He plays hard, plays smart, and brings value every trip down the floor.

His freshman season was nothing short of impressive. Kian averaged 8.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 5.2 assists, 5 deflections, and a jaw-dropping 6 steals per game. That defensive stat alone tells the story; he’s everywhere. He also started multiple varsity games as a 2028 and made big improvements in his shot selection and right-hand development. This offseason, his focus is staying in the gym, improving his footwork, and learning to change pace more effectively as a point guard. He’ll be playing for Sideline Cancer and plans to showcase his skills at the Made Hoops Live Session from July 9–13—an opportunity he’s ready for.

What fires Kian up is the energy of big games, packed gyms, coaches in the stands, and even trash talk. He thrives on competition and uses defense as his answer. That’s when he locks in and delivers stop after stop. When facing adversity, he stays motivated and keeps working. The best coaching advice he’s ever received is, “Always be coachable, even when things aren’t going your way. Keep a great attitude and let your effort speak.” He’s committed to his growth, and it shows in how he plays, prepares, and carries himself.

Off the court, Kian enjoys staying in the gym and working on his strength. He’s serious about his improvement and just wants the chance to prove how much better he’s getting. With his work ethic, numbers, and mindset, he’s someone college coaches should start tracking now.

I assess that Kian’s playmaking, toughness, and defensive hustle already make him a difference-maker. His ability to fill the stat sheet as a freshman is rare. With continued work on his right hand and pace, he can run an offense and impact the game in multiple ways at the next level.

Kian is wired to compete. He’s growing fast, both physically and mentally, and has all the tools to become a complete point guard. If he keeps this pace, he’ll turn heads every season moving forward. The potential is real, and the hunger is already there. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead and another flourishing display of defensive dominance, like taking candy from a baby.
