Gavin Carter @gavincarter2024, 6'2, 162, c/o 24 of Chaparral High School is lightning fast off the bounce. Crafty and creative as the engine that makes this offense go. Gavin kills defenders with his blow-by-speed to free himself up to get that floater. With amazing court vision and a high offensive IQ Gavin drives in making the right playmaking decisions for his team. Gavin excels at playing hard-nosed defense. In the AAU session, Gavin averaged 16 points and 5 assists per game. Gavin's biggest improvement was elevating his strength, speed, and jumping ability. The hard work paid to play hard go off and now he has increased his vertical. Gavin's highlight of the summer was playing with the teammates he bonded with as they traveled all over the country.
Last season Gavin averaged 21.7 points, 4.5 assists, 5 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game. Gavin has set his goal to lead this team on a deep playoff run inspiring them to play together and improve every possession and battle their way all the way to a state championship.
Coaches should know Gavin will be a valuable piece to any program and coachable enough to learn and thrive in any system and be a solid team player. Establishing himself while elevating his skills to dominating this season. . Gavin is looking at a starting in D2 but is a true D1 talent. His degree goal is a Business major.
