Harmon is an electric young sniper who has fierce handles and crafty moves. He is a big-time, three level scoring threat. He is a true leader on the court, and he has an extremely high basketball IQ. He has the speed and shiftiness, which makes him extremely tough to guard. He navigates the entire court and he is able to dish the rock seamlessly to the open man, or he can score himself.
This past season Harmon lead the JV team in scoring and fg percentage, as well as free throw percentage. As well as he played, he still felt that he didn’t play up to his full potential. He has put in a tremendous amount of time to improve on all facets of his overall game. He continues to improve every single day. His biggest goal for this upcoming season is for his team to win their district and play at Diddle Arena in front of their fans. Playing AAU for Bab Elite, he wanted to play against the best competition possible and get as much exposure as he could. He averaged 19 points per game, and had a season high 40 point game!
What fuels his fire the most is simply his passion for the game. He puts in the work, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get better. He is able to take constructive criticism and instantly make adjustments to correct mistakes. He doesn’t rattle, and he simply lets the past go and move onto the next play. When asked what a coach can expect from him, he said “I’m very coachable, and I am wiling to put in the hard work and effort, every single day.” This kid has the skillset, high IQ, work ethic and flat out nasty speed which all makes him very dangerous. He is simply the total package,and the scary thing is, he is only going to get better. He will get stronger and will continue to grow. His passion for the game is absolutely undeniable.
My personal assessment is you can't let his size fool you. At first glance, he may not pass the “eye test.” That is until he starts mesmerizing you with his dazzling play. He is fearless and can score from literally anywhere on the floor. You simply don't see any kids this age with the talent and work ethic like this kid has. He doesn’t back down from any opponent, regardless of their size difference. He just goes into attack mode, with the same fire, passion and determination each and every time. This is going to be one fun ride, and the train hasn’t even left the station yet!
