Jack is a lethal catch-and-shoot sniper from three with a confident touch. But Jack has sneaky speed, strong handles, and shifty athleticism that allows him to knife his way into the lane for mid-range daggers or get all the way to the rim for creative finishes. Jack is a high-level volume shooter who can also be a dazzling facilitator and playmaker with excellent court vision and can drop some sweet passes even on the move with full-court lasers with no problem. Jack's voice is always one of the loudest on the court, and he takes pride in his leadership ability and IQ. Jack also has a high motor on the defensive end.
Jack likes to spend time with his family and friends when he is not on the court. Jack also enjoys playing the guitar, doing yoga, and meditating in his spare time.
Something that Jack is working on in his game is his athleticism and becoming more of a threat above the rim and on the fast break. Another thing Jack is working on in his game right now is getting into more pick-and-roll situations while reading the coverages like clockwork. Jack has shown flashes of being elite in the pick and roll and it is something that he aims to lock on in making it a large part of his game this upcoming season.
Playing AAU for TNBA South, Jack averaged 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. Jack Played on a top-10 varsity team in Florida as a sophomore. He won multiple game and tournament MVPs with TNBA and Z camp elite as well.
Jack's biggest improvement from last season to now is probably his body and maturity, getting to play the game at a different level of speed and physicality. Jack's frame has matured to be able to better handle contact, especially against bigger players, and his skills have been able to translate to a faster-paced, higher-level game.
Jack's goals for the upcoming season include identifying himself as an elite, college-ready guard from Central Florida. Jack is really looking to showcase his shooting ability and his ability to get his teammates involved out of the pick and roll or in transition, getting to help them catch heat and energy. Challenges are going to present themselves, but Jack trusts and believes in himself as a basketball player and as a person. Jack also has a huge amount of faith in his teammates and coaching staff. Jack feels they have a great group of guys this year and believes that they are ready for whatever challenges will come their way and that they will find success working through them as a team and as a program.
Jack is looking forward to the Lake Howell game. Historically speaking they are his school’s rival since the two schools are on the same road. Jack also knows quite a few people on their team so he knows it will be a game with a fun atmosphere. Jack believes that his team can make a deep run in the tournament. Jack really believes they have really good players and a really good coaching staff. as stated before. It will take buy-in from everyone but Jack does think that they will make a deep run once they all buy into the system and prioritize their team values.
What fires Jack up most on the court is just playing for his teammates, fighting on the court with him, and having the opportunity to represent not only all of the work that he puts into the game but the work his teammates and coaches have put in as well.
When facing adversity, Jack just trusts in his own character and works through it. Jack has faith in the plan that God has for him and has faith in the way his mom and sister raised him so he knows that he will be able to get through whatever challenges may present themselves.
The best piece of advice Jack has ever been given is to keep it simple and stay in the moment. It’s very easy to overcomplicate things or get caught up thinking about things without significance. Keeping things simple and being careful not to overcomplicate or overthink certain things helps Jack stay in the place where he needs to be to accomplish his goals.
Jack feels like it will take hard work and determination for him to get to the next level. Jack can see himself being a productive player at any collegiate level because Jack is building his game to translate to all levels. Jack can be highly efficient in a small role, or he can be very productive in a big role. Jack does not currently hold any offers or have any interest.
I assess that Jake is a gifted talent with a ton of high level potential, as a lethal shooter and high-IQ facilitator. Jack is good-sized and knows what it will take to thrive on the next level. Jack is destined for a breakout season, and his stock will rise. Stay tuned y'all.
