Grayson is a dynamic three-level scorer with a silky-smooth touch that makes him a constant threat anywhere on the floor. He’s a versatile guard who can hurt defenses in multiple ways, spotting up for catch-and-shoot threes, creating separation off the bounce, or attacking with a nasty first step that gets him downhill in a hurry. He’s a strong finisher at the rim and is continuing to build above-the-rim ability, giving him even more ways to complete plays. His court vision and passing ability elevate his game to another level, making him as dangerous as a facilitator as he is as a scorer. Whether it’s delivering a timely dime, reading the floor under pressure, or creating space for his own shot, Grayson can dictate tempo and punish defenders for every mistake.
This past high school season he averaged 8 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists per game while shooting an blidtering 42% from three and 54% from the field. But his summer on the AAU circuit is where he really showed his growth and confidence. At P32 Live events, he consistently put up a scoring showcase with 18, 20, and 23 points, while adding rebounds and assists to round out his stat line. More importantly, he proved he could meet his goal of averaging 15 points per game while catching the eye of college programs. He didn’t just play well; he did it on the biggest stages against top-level competition, proving he belongs in the conversation of rising Texas guards to watch in the 2026 class.
What coaches can count on with Grayson is effort and impact every single night. He takes pride in defense, crashing the boards, diving for loose balls, and fueling his team with energy plays that don’t always show up in the box score. He thrives off momentum-shifting stops and puts just as much pride into the grind as he does into scoring. He’s calm in adversity, trusting his preparation, and his maturity shines as a player who doesn’t get rattled when things tighten up. Off the floor, he’s outgoing and competitive, enjoying activities like football games and golfing, keeping the same energy and drive in everything he does.
I assess that Grayson’s ability to score efficiently from all three levels, combined with his vision and passing instincts, makes him a weapon every college coach should keep an eye on. He impacts winning in multiple ways, not just as a scorer, but as a defender, rebounder, and selfless teammate. His shooting gravity opens the floor for others, while his toughness and IQ ensure he elevates those around him.
With a strong summer behind him and the confidence to carry it forward, Grayson Eichinger is rising fast. Expect him to build on his AAU success and turn into a centerpiece for his team, along with a smooth touch and relentless drive, where he’ll be chasing another playoff run. His mix of effort, skill, and steady improvement makes him one of the more intriguing guards, and his ceiling only gets higher as he adds strength and develops his finishing around the rim. He's a name to know, and a prospect built to make noise at the next level. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
