Zade is likely the best kept secret in the mountains of Eastern KY. Zade is an extremely crafty three-level scorer. Zade can really bring the rain from outside with a smooth touch. but really thrives attacking off the bounce, especially running in transition. Zade can light it up in the mid-range, creating space to get his shots, but it is absolutely devastating finishing at the rim with a bag of wicked finishing moves even through contact. Zade has deceptive speed with a nasty hesitation to blow by defenders then a dazzling scope and flip that seems to be unstoppable. Zade has good court vision and can drop a nice pass. Zade is also a rock-solid defender.
Playing AAU for. Griffin Elite, Zade averaged 17 points per game. Zade's focused areas of development would be to have a higher tendency to attack the rim. Zade's biggest improvement from last season to now is his size and strength. Zade's biggest basketball accomplishments were
:2x middle county champion + pike county MVP
- 8th-grade elite 8 in the state - All-district team as a freshman
Zade's goal for this upcoming season is to compete for a regional title. The biggest challenge will be their size and willingness to play together as a team. Zade doesn't see any particular team as the biggest rival game but whoever they play in the district because they have to accomplish that goal before they look at the region. Zane feels they can make a deep tournament run if they play as a team and buy in on defense.
What fires Zade up the most on the court is the rivalry matchups in the district and the region. Nothing motivates Zade more than those intense battles no one wants to lose.
Zade handles adversity usually through playing that much harder.
. The best piece of advice Zade was ever given was to be focused on being physically stronger than his opponent.
Zade's Interests and hobbies outside of basketball are golfing and chilling with friends.
Zade never focuses on any certain division level right now, understanding he has too much work to do on being the best player he can be right now and knows the future will take care of itself.
I assess that by the end of his high school journey, Zade could be among the best in the class of 27 in the state. This humble warrior just goes out and gets it done. Zade's skill set is so fluid and naturally smooth. Zade's high motor, with his ability to create his own shots and space, will really help him excel. Zade has the potential to certainly play at the next level, and his development over these next couple of years will give us a clear picture of just how high he can fly. Stay tuned for a monster season from Zade!
