Aiden is a smooth playmaker who can score at all three levels, but the fire in his game shows up in the way he attacks every possession. He can create a shot for himself, make the right pass when a teammate is open, and keep the offense moving without rushing what's in front of him. When his teammates make the game easier with their movement, Aiden trusts what he sees and finds the shot he wants.

Last season, Aiden played about five minutes a game on varsity with a senior-heavy group in front of him. He used that time to see what the game demanded, then went to work knowing he would handle the ball much more this season. His biggest improvements have come in strength, athleticism, and handles, while his shooting has remained a major focus as he prepares for a larger role.

That work goes back to a time when making a team wasn't guaranteed. Aiden missed the school team in sixth grade and didn't make an AAU team until seventh grade, so he went into his backyard after school and shot until it got dark. That same drive shaped an offseason with at least two training sessions each day and five lifting sessions a week, giving him a stronger base for the player he's becoming.

Aiden believes his defense deserves more attention because he uses his length and awareness to make scoring difficult while helping his team. A coach can also count on a controlled game from him, even when he's attacking the basket relentlessly and fighting for rebounds. Being overlooked still fuels his fire, and every trip down the court gives him another chance to show what all those hours have built.

I assess that Aiden’s patience gives his offense a natural rhythm, allowing him to choose his moment instead of forcing action. As his role grows, that calm approach could help him set the tone when his team needs a smart decision or a timely basket.

The most compelling part of Aiden’s story is how firmly he's held on to his belief in himself. He has already shown that a setback can push him to put in the hours, and his next challenge is turning that hunger into consistent production through a full season.
