Brandon is a skilled and smart shooting guard who knows how to play the game the right way. A natural shooter with great touch, he’s confident spotting up or moving off the ball, always looking to make the right play. He understands how to play within a system, gets his teammates involved, and brings solid defensive energy, especially as a communicator and help defender who isn’t afraid to get his hands dirty. He’s known for taking charges, talking on defense, and hitting shots when his team needs a spark. Built around basketball since day one, he studies the game just as much as he plays it, and it shows every time he steps on the floor.

Brandon spent last season on JV, where stats weren’t tracked, but he’s been locked in on steady growth. His biggest improvements have come in playmaking and decision-making, rarely turning the ball over and showing more patience under pressure. He’s worked hard on getting downhill and learning how to finish at the rim, with that continuing to be a focus heading into the new season. One of the biggest things he’s learned is how to manage his confidence, bouncing back when things don’t go his way and staying mentally strong through highs and lows.

During the AAU season with Midwest, Brandon’s goal was to improve every game and soak in as much court time as possible, and he made the most of it. He played with confidence, earning a solid role, and capped off the summer by averaging 17 points per game at the Bleacher Prospect Camp tournament. His coach knows he’ll bring energy, effort, and a team-first attitude every time he checks in. He led the freshman team in charges taken last season and is now focused on being a leader on JV and possibly earning a role with varsity if the opportunity comes.

What fuels Brandon the most is momentum, he feeds off big defensive stops that flip the energy and get his team going. He stays calm through adversity, always keeping his head up and making sure he’s not dragging down those around him. His mindset is rooted in something his dad, a college basketball coach, always tells him, “Have good reps.” That advice reminds him that doing things the right way matters more than instant results; if you keep doing the right things, the right results will follow.

Off the court, Brandon enjoys golf, hanging with friends, and spending time with his family. He’s focused, grounded, and passionate about the game, ready to take another big step this season and keep building his future in basketball.

I assess that Brandon’s strength lies in his shot-making, basketball IQ, and consistency. He’s the type of guard who can space the floor, communicates on both ends, and contributes without forcing the action. His decision-making and leadership traits give him long-term value in any program looking for dependable, hard-working players.

As he continues to grow physically and evolve his finishing game, Brandon’s role will keep expanding. He already plays with poise and purpose beyond his age, and with his sharp mind and love for the game, he’s got the tools to become a steady contributor at the varsity level and beyond. Stay tuned.
