Kai is a walking highlight reel with a 41-inch vertical and a game that soars just as high. A fierce and explosive athlete, he’s a nightmare at the rim, attacking with power, punishing defenders on drives, and finishing lobs with authority. He’s a physical mismatch for smaller guards and a terror off the bounce with a commanding handle that creates constant separation. But his game doesn’t stop above the rim. Kai rains threes at a blistering 45% from four attempts per game and knocks down free throws at nearly 85%. Defensively, he’s relentless as a high-IQ perimeter menace with quick hands and a gritty edge that sets the tone for his team. Coaches can expect intensity, versatility, and leadership every possession.

This past season, Kai torched defenses for 28.3 points per game while adding 6.6 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 4.1 steals, and over a block per game. He embraced the challenge of taking command as the primary playmaker, elevating his leadership and control. His biggest improvement came in learning to control pace, slowing the game down, making smart reads, and elevating those around him. He led St Mary’s to their first-ever state finals appearance, a historic achievement he helped create. This offseason, Kai is locked in on high-intensity scrimmages to elevate his decision-making and passing IQ. Though he’s taking this AAU season off, the work hasn’t stopped; he’s already focused on adapting to the American game with the possibility of transferring to a U.S. school for a national schedule.

Trash talk and hostile crowds only feed Kai’s fire and thrive off proving doubters wrong and rising above the noise. When facing adversity, he responds with poise, effort, and a mentality built for tough moments. He doesn’t just play through adversity but welcomes it. The best advice he’s received is, " Controlling the controllables: effort, attitude, preparation, and selflessness." Off the court, Kai lives like a pro. He prioritizes recovery, nutrition, and training, stays dialed in academically, and gives back through community service. His approach to life mirrors his approach to basketball: consistent, committed, and always forward-moving.

I assess that Kai’s mix of elite athleticism, scoring efficiency, and defensive grit gives him immediate value at the next level. His ability to impact the game on both ends, lead from the guard spot, and play through pressure situations makes him a player who raises the ceiling of any college program he joins.

Expect Kai to dominate American competition just as he did in Australia. With his motor, mindset, and skill set, he’s on a fast track to becoming one of the most impactful guards in his class. The tools are already there; now it’s about taking every opportunity and turning it into a statement. Stay tuned.
