Andrew is a matchup nightmare every time he steps on the floor. He explodes downhill with force and athleticism, living above the rim and punishing defenses with his ability to finish through contact. Super bouncy with a natural nose for the ball, he’s able to score on all three levels, yet his bread and butter is attacking the basket with authority. Add in his rebounding dominance, where he seems to gobble every miss on either end, and you’ve got a forward who dictates the game with his physical presence and relentless energy.
This past season, Andrew averaged 11.9 points, 7.5 rebounds, and hit 37% from beyond the arc, numbers that showcase both his versatility and his efficiency. His biggest improvement has come from the weight room, where he added over 25 pounds of muscle this summer, making him even tougher to guard or push off the block. Now, his focus is on tightening his ball handling and learning to defend quicker guards, rounding out an already dangerous arsenal. The drive to win fuels him, whether it was helping push Montgomery County into the Final Four, securing an Adidas 3SSB championship on the AAU circuit, or gunning for another regional title; his mentality is always focused on victory. Trash talk doesn’t rattle him. He stays calm, locked in, and makes the right play every possession.
Coaches should know Andrew is a player who competes with a high motor, battles on the boards, and can step outside to make shots. Being ranked in the ESPN Top 25 for the 2028 class is no fluke. His showcase at @NextUpRecruits proved he’s a top 20-caliber talent, where he was recognized as a Top Performer and All-Star. He’s been praised as a future D1 player, a high-major prospect with the athleticism, size, and skill set to cause constant mismatches. Even in workouts, his focus shines through, perfecting a detailed bag of scoring moves designed to create space and attack defenders from every angle.
Off the court, Andrew enjoys finding time to hang with friends and keep his circle tight. That grounding presence carries over when the lights are brightest, calm under pressure, fierce in competition, always prepared to lead his team when it matters most.
I assess that Andrew’s mix of size, strength, and bounce makes him a program-changing prospect. He has the physical tools to impact a college team immediately on the boards, and in transition, while his improving three-point shooting stretches defenses thin. His willingness to do the dirty work, rebounding, finishing through contact, and defending multiple spots means he can thrive in a system that values toughness and versatility.
As Andrew continues to improve his handles and expand his defensive versatility, expect his stock to keep rising. He already looks the part of a high-major forward, and his drive to win ensures he’ll keep pushing his ceiling higher. With his size, athleticism, and relentless mentality, his long-term potential is as bright as any in the 2028 class. He is poised to dominate now and make an even bigger impact at the next level. Stay tuned.
