Carson is a dynamic wing who thrives defensively as his calling card with incredible instincts to anticipate passes and jump the passing line for steals and fuels the transition game in a flash of those steals. Carson has a high motor and runs the floor from end to end in a flash. Carson is at his best getting downhill in transition. Carson is crafty off the bounce with nice athleticism and is a fierce finisher at the rim as a high flyer who loves to throw it down. Carson is also a strong catch-and-shoot three-point sniper that you can't leave open or its money. But Carson is a team guy dropping some dazzling passes to open or cutting teammates as an awesome floor general with great court vision. When he draws the double team to slow him down, Carson punishes the defense by getting teammates easy buckets. Carson faces a lot of box-and-one and high 1-3-1 defenses with teams trying to get the ball out of his hands, but his vision and ball handling get him through. Carson is constantly trying to develop a deeper and more consistent range and 3-point percentage.
Carson also plays varsity Soccer and Golf. Hanging out with friends and listening to music. Family time. Carson's brother Darien plays Division 1 golf at Mercyhurst. Carson's dad was a 2 time All-American runner at Wake Forest and his mom is in the Daemen Sports Hall of Fame for basketball.

They have a sectional championship goal as a team in the Western New York area. They have a few tough competitors in our division. Another challenge is staying healthy, and Carson's work in the weight room. Carson has a personal goal of hitting 2,000 points too. Carson's biggest improvement from last year to now is, he feels, all aspects of his game. strength, athleticism, and generally his skills improved over the summer with his AAU team with the Buffalo Titans.
Carson's league and division have some tough teams, but to win our league we need to beat a team called Panama High School. Their team is almost all seniors and they have a lot of experience. They beat them twice last season and it’s always a good game. Carson attracts a lot of defensive attention and it’s a tough assignment.
Carson feels that his team can make a big playoff run. They made it to the regional championship last year and hope to again this year. It will take everyone coming together at the right time and hitting some shots in clutch situations. Also, they will need to be playing their best defense of the year.
There is nothing that fires Carson up like a big dunk in front of their crowd. Carson had a big one last year in the regional quarterfinal right after he made a 3-pointer, and the crowd and their team were fired up.
Carson handles adversity by staying calm and in the moment. Bad things happen sometimes, and he feels he is good at keeping his composure and keeping his expression the same. Carson talks with his coach often about moving on to the next play. That’s all you can do – go make a big play and turn it around.
Carson's advice to those coming behind him is "The harder you work, the luckier you get"
Carson feels he can improve at his position and Carson feels he can play any division. Carson also feels the need to stay consistent with working at the game. can see the court, score, dunk, and shoot from a distance.
I assess that Carson is a primetime performer position for another huge season that will garner even more attention. Carson's ability to see the court, score, dunk, and shoot from distance set him apart from the pack. Carson will thrive anywhere he chooses to call home. I believe Carson will continue to elevate his game and skills so that we will watch his stock really rise more and more. Stay tuned.
