Ezekiel is smooth but shifty, calm but dangerous. He brings a natural feel to the game that you can’t teach. Ezekiel glides across the floor with a versatile skill set that is versatile enough to shift from the guard spot out to the wing, creating problems for defenders who can’t quite figure out where he’s going next. He’s lethal catching and shooting from all five spots from beyond the arc, and just when you think you’ve closed out, he’s attacking off the bounce and creating his own look. That confidence shows up every single time the ball leaves his hands. There’s no hesitation, no second-guessing, just belief and rhythm.
Even after being sidelined with an ankle injury and not recording stats during his high school season, Ezekiel didn’t let that slow his growth. If anything, it pushed him deeper into his development. His handles got tighter and more controlled, especially when bringing the ball up the floor and navigating pressure. His shot became more consistent, more comfortable, and more natural from every angle on the perimeter. That time away from game action turned into fuel, building a more complete offensive weapon who understands how to create space and operate with purpose.
Playing with Hoop Code on the AAU circuit, Ezekiel is focused on continuing to expand his bag, becoming more of a playmaker, and improving his overall shot even more. There’s a clear hunger in his game, a drive to keep adding weapons, not just as a scorer but as someone who can impact the game in multiple ways. Whether it’s raining in shots, creating for others, or stepping into bigger moments, he’s building toward being that guy teams can rely on.
What fires him up the most says everything about his mindset. Defense and tough, contested shots bring out his edge. That’s where the energy shifts, where the game slows down for him, and his confidence takes over. And when facing adversity, he answers it the only way he knows how, by going right back at it with his game and his dedication, letting his work speak louder than anything else.
Right now, the offers may not be there outside of prep school interest, but that part of the story isn’t finished. A player with Ezekiel’s size, confidence, and growing skill set doesn’t stay under the radar forever. As he continues to tighten his handles, grow as a passer, and expand his offensive package, the attention will come. It’s only a matter of time before more eyes start locking in on what he’s building.
I assess that Ezekiel is a long, smooth guard who brings natural scoring ability and versatility. His ability to shoot confidently from multiple spots and create off the dribble makes him a tough matchup, especially as he continues to improve his control with the ball. His mindset stands out, embracing defensive intensity and big moments while using adversity as motivation rather than an excuse.
As his game continues to evolve, Ezekiel has the tools to develop into a high-level perimeter player who can stretch defenses and create offense in multiple ways. With added strength, continued ball control, and growth as a playmaker, he can become a major impact piece at the next level. Expect his name to start gaining traction as he gets back fully healthy and shows the full version of his game. Stay tuned.
