Grant is the type of player who doesn’t need flash to make a loud impact, he just gets it done with a smooth, purposed brilliance. A three-level scorer with a punishing middy and a lethal silky touch from deep, Grant punishes defenses with high IQ play and elite court vision, threading dazzling passes like a quarterback with eyes on every angle. But what truly separates him from the rest is his defensive versatility, he can effectively guard all five positions and brings an edge to every matchup. Coaches should know they’re getting a steady leader who makes smart decisions, locks in on both ends and always plays to win.
This past year, Grant’s biggest improvement came in his quickness, allowing him to play even faster while maintaining composure. Offensively, he's a consistent threat with deep shooting range and the ability to make defenders pay when they overcommit. But he’s far from satisfied. This offseason, he’s focused on expanding his ability to create off the dribble and become an even more complete scorer under pressure. With Wisconsin Playmakers 17U P32, he’s taking his game to bigger stages and looking ahead to key events like the upcoming tournament in St. Louis, hungry to prove he belongs at the next level. His main goal is to earn a D1 scholarship and make noise every time he steps on the floor.
Grant is driven by competitiveness, especially when it’s a chance to avenge a loss. He plays with focus and passion, keeping himself locked into the moment and always making the most of each opportunity. The best coaching advice he’s ever received is, "Just have fun." That, combined with his fierce work ethic, keeps him grounded and dangerous.
Looking forward, Grant’s eye is on helping Appleton North make a real push for a conference championship next season. When he's not locked in on the court, he enjoys football, getting outdoors, and swimming, activities that match his competitive spirit and give him balance outside of basketball.
I assess that Grant is the ultimate glue piece with game-changing potential. His ability to stretch the floor, deliver dimes, and guard every position makes him a weapon on both ends. He’s the kind of player who helps programs win big games through consistency, control, and competitive drive.
As his off-the-dribble scoring continues to evolve, Grant is poised to become a complete two-way force. With his size, versatility, and elite decision-making, college coaches should keep a close eye, this is a player whose best basketball is still ahead, and whose presence elevates every team he joins. Look for a breakout season ahead. Stay tuned.
