5’11, 165lbs, Class of 2026

Petersburg HS, WV

Caden is a dynamic shot-maker with a competitive fire that sets the tone every time he steps on the floor. He’s a knockdown shooter who spaces the floor with confidence, hitting 33% from beyond the arc while also proving he can slash, score with nasty middy, and a fierce finisher at the rim. His shooting draws attention, but it’s his ability to evolve that’s making him stand out. With a smooth handle and growing physicality, Caden gets to his spots and makes defenders pay, especially when he’s in rhythm. He’s not just a scorer but stepping into a leadership role and embracing the responsibilities that come with it.

This past season, Caden averaged 15.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 47.1% from the field. His biggest improvement was his leadership, becoming a voice and presence for Petersburg High School on and off the court. He was named All-PVC First Team and earned Cumberland Area Honorable Mention recognition, proving that his impact wasn’t just felt by his team but across the region. With a strong junior year behind him, his offseason focus is on building strength in the weight room to finish through contact and elevate his ability to score at the rim with authority.

Caden is playing for West Virginia Reign this AAU season on the Big Shots Slam Circuit, and he’s hungry to grow his game and elevate his recruitment. One tournament he’s especially excited for is Big Shots All-Star Weekend in Rock Hill, where he’ll go head-to-head with some of the top talent in the region. His goals are simple: improve, compete, and show that he belongs on radars. With senior year on the horizon, his mission is to lead Petersburg back to the state tournament for the first time since 2009 and make a deep run.

What fires Caden up most is the rhythm of a run, when he knocks down a couple of threes, then muscles in a tough finish at the rim. That energy lifts his game, and he brings it right back on the defensive end. In adversity, he stays aggressive, stays focused, and responds by doing what he does best: getting buckets and locking in on defense. The best coaching advice he ever received is, "Don’t dwell on mistakes, keep moving forward". That has become his foundation.

Caden brings efficient scoring, steady leadership, and a competitive edge that lifts those around him. His perimeter shooting, tough mentality, and ability to respond in big moments make him a dependable and dangerous guard for any program.

As he adds strength and continues to polish his finishing and decision-making, Caden is poised to take another evolution in his game. With his hunger, consistency, and leadership qualities, he’s a major piece for Petersburg and a rising star primed for a breakout season. Stay tuned.
