Adrian is a dynamic two-way force whose ambidextrous skill set and basketball IQ separate him from the pack. He’s a crafty shot creator with sick handles, an electric change of pace, and a shifty first step that lets him blow by defenders and break down defenses. With a quick release and strong elevation, Adrian gets to his spots and knocks down jumpers with confidence. His ability to finish at the rim using either hand adds another layer to his offensive game, especially when slashing off counters or in transition. But his instincts on the defensive end are just as sharp. Adrian reads passing lanes like a veteran, anticipates decisions before they happen, and turns defense into offense with relentless pressure and sneaky steals. He’s composed under fire, thrives in big moments, and plays with a passion that shows on every possession.
In his 2024–2025 JV season at Jesuit, Adrian averaged 12 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals per game, leading his team in scoring, assists, steals, and free throws made. He ranked in the top three in eight categories and helped his squad finish with a 16–2 record, which is second-best in Jesuit history over the past decade. His most clutch moment came against Plant High School, where, after a late turnover, he stayed composed, drew a foul with 0.3 seconds left, and hit both free throws to seal the win. That calm, resilient mindset is what drives Adrian. He was later moved up to varsity and has already started early morning workouts to prepare for summer league.
Over the past year, Adrian evolved from a pass-first point guard to a scoring floor general who reads defenses, masterminds motion and makes lightning-fast decisions. His biggest improvement was his ability to recognize mismatches, create 2-on-1s, and elevate as both a scorer and playmaker. This offseason, he’s focused on adding 10 more pounds of muscle to his frame, already up five, and improving his physicality to finish stronger at the rim without being bumped off his game. Speed and explosiveness are also in the works thanks to training with track & field and personal coaching.
On the AAU circuit, Adrian plays with Liberty Edge 15U Orange, one of the top independent teams in Florida. They finished 16-5 this spring and ranked sixth in the state while competing in D1 of the U.S. Amateur Basketball League. Adrian posted 15 PPG/32, with highs of 25 points, 7 assists, and 8 steals while shooting 45% from the field and 70% from the line. He’s locked in on raising those numbers with the goal of 50% FG and 80% FT as he heads into major events like Ballin’ on the Beach in Fort Lauderdale. Though he’s stayed loyal to Liberty Edge and Coach Marcus Liberty since moving from NYC in 2021, Adrian is now opening up his AAU recruitment and seeking an opportunity to test himself in a shoe circuit environment.
Next season, Adrian’s goal is to become an impact varsity player, earning starter minutes and leading Jesuit on a deep playoff run. He’s motivated by high-pressure moments, steals that turn into fast-break points, and feeding his teammates for big-time buckets. He’s not just a player, he’s a leader who thrives in the spotlight, but also embraces the grind.
Adrian handles adversity with poise and fire. His approach is calm and relentless, always locking in and bouncing back with more intensity. The best advice he’s ever received is, “Tough times don’t last, but tough players do,” which has shaped the way he trains, thinks, and competes.
Most importantly, Adrian is a man of faith. His relationship with Jesus Christ guides everything he does, both on and off the court. He chose Jesuit because of that connection and lives out his values through service, volunteering with The Bay Conservancy and working as a counselor at his school’s basketball camp to mentor middle school kids. For Adrian, basketball is more than a game; it’s a calling, and he’s determined to use his platform to make a difference.
I assess that Adrian’s ambidextrous ability, fierce instincts, and two-way energy make him an uncommon backcourt talent. His vision, leadership, and steady progression position him as a coach’s dream, someone who can run a team, set the tone, and elevate those around him.
Expect Adrian to make a major varsity impact next season. His mental toughness, physical development, and commitment to growth give him one of the highest ceilings in his class. As he adds strength and continues evolving his offensive versatility, he’s on pace to become a high-level recruit with a complete game and powerful presence. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
