JuJu is an explosive downhill combo guard who thrives attacking the lane with fierce handles, blowby speed and crafty finishes. But JuJu is a versatile 3-level scorer, a threat also in mid-range, and can really heat it up from three. JuJu is also a strong defender, picking pockets and turning defense into offense quickly.
Outside of basketball JuJu likes to do things that keep his body in shape or probably play the game.
This past season, JuJu averaged 22.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.2 steals per game. JuJu's biggest improvement from last year is how he can score easier than last year with less dribbles and strength. JuJu feels like there are still ways he can improve his game by developing his point guard skills by getting my team more involved.
JuJu's goal for the upcoming season is to lead his team to a positive record while winning a regional title and more. JuJu feels that they don’t have a rivalry game due to them becoming an independent conference meaning they can schedule anybody. JuJu thinks that to make a deep tournament run they have to be dogs and want it more than everybody on the court.
Some things that fired JuJu up is when he hears the negativity being said and also the loud, intense student sections.
The best advice JuJu ever heard was a quote from Carmelo Anthony and he said, “Every morning you wake up, you have 2 options. Continue to sleep with your dream, or wake up and chase it.
JuJu feels he can play at a high major D1 school if he continues to be consistent and compete with whoever is in front of me. JuJu feels it will take way more work than he does now to achieve his goals, but JuJu believes he will make them happen. JuJu has no offers or interest, but he thinks that will change soon.
I assess that JuJu has an incredible tenacity on both ends of the court. JuJu's scoring and defensive balance have already separated him from the pack in WI, and he continues to develop his skills. JuJu possesses an intense work ethic. The speed and athleticism are a game changer for JuJu. It should be another monster season driving his stock higher. D1 opportunities require D1 work and sacrifice to be the best version of himself for JuJu and others. JuJu has to stay hungry and grind. Stay tuned!
