Gator is a fearless, explosive guard with a complete scoring bag, dazzling court vision, and one of the sharpest minds on the floor. His high basketball IQ shows up in every possession, directing defenses, threading passes through tight windows, and making reads that few others see. A savvy floor general who plays much bigger than his size, he combines creativity and confidence to control the pace, facilitate the offense, and set his teammates up for success. His scoring is electric, raining deep threes, attacking the rim with fearless aggression, and stepping up when it matters most, but it’s his ability to see the whole floor and make everyone around him better that separates him. Gator’s the leader who owns the moment, feeds off the crowd, and makes the game look effortless when it’s anything but.

This past season, he averaged 25.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while leading Maysville to its first-ever state title and making history along the way. He exploded for 36 points in the state championship game, including a 41-point night earlier in the tournament where he hit 9 threes to set the school record. He hit a cold-blooded buzzer-beater in double overtime in the state semifinal to keep the run alive, proving he’s built for the biggest stage. Gator’s biggest improvement came in his ability to handle the pressure of becoming the team’s primary ball handler after playing off the ball early in his career. He’s focused now on tightening his handles even more and getting his shot off quicker to stay a step ahead of defenders.

At the Bleacher Republic Nationals this past weekend, Gator turned in a dazzling performance that had the gym buzzing. In his first matchup, he lit up the second half with fearless drives, elite body control, and capped the comeback with a cold-blooded game-winning three to seal a 65-64 win, finishing with 16 points. The very next game, he poured in 24 more, including another late clutch bucket to send the game to overtime. Every time his team needed a play, Gator stepped up. He was dynamic, fearless, and simply unstoppable. He went toe-to-toe with elite competition all AAU season, and his goals of getting recognized and testing himself against the best were both met in full. He’s now holding an offer from Lourdes University, and more interest is sure to come.

Gator’s dominance hasn’t gone unnoticed. He recently surpassed 1,000 career points, a milestone that reflects his scoring ability and consistent production year after year. He was named 1st Team All-MVL, 1st Team District 12, and 1st Team Eastern District, and earned both District 12 Player of the Year and Eastern District Player of the Year honors. These achievements speak to the respect he’s earned across the state, not just for his scoring, but for the impact he has on every game he touches.

Gator’s motivation runs deep. He’s fired up most when the trash talk starts flying or the game gets tight. That’s when he turns the “DOGG” loose and takes over. He thrives on competition, thrives on adversity, and never lets mistakes linger, always bouncing back with a “next play” mentality. The trust from his coaches fuels his confidence, and his leadership shows in the way he carries himself in those pressure-packed moments.

Off the court, Gator enjoys golf, hanging with friends, and staying locked in with the guys he’s grown up with. He’s ready to run it back with his brothers for one more season, determined to defend their state title and add another legendary chapter to a career already full of unforgettable moments.

I assess that Gator’s combination of scoring instincts, court vision, and competitive fire makes him one of the most dangerous guards in his class.
