Cohen brings a fierce edge every time he steps on the field, and he does not ease up when a play gets messy. He has 31 tackles this season, including 23 solo stops, and his 8 QB pressures show how often he's getting into the backfield. He hits with ruthless intent, attacks the man in front of him, and keeps fighting until the whistle, giving his defense a jolt that shows up well beyond the numbers.

That full-throttle style has grown stronger because of what Cohen has put into his game when nobody is watching. He spent the offseason building strength, sharpening his moves and cleaning up his footwork, putting real work into the details that help him get home on game day. His biggest improvement has been in his mind, where he's learned to stay in the fight no matter what happens on a snap or how a game is going.

Cohen studies film with a purpose, looking for the tackle’s habits and the clues that tell him where to attack before the ball moves. Being overlooked lights a fire in him, and he's turned that feeling into a reason to bet on himself every day. He wants his play to speak loud, and the energy he brings makes it clear he's willing to put in the work to do it.

I assess that the speed with which Cohen can turn a blocker’s hesitation into an opening gives him a chance to disrupt the timing of an offense. He can make a quarterback move before a throw develops and force protection to adjust in a hurry.

Cohen welcomes tough matchups and brings the same fearless belief in himself to each one. His determination gives him a strong base to build on as he continues to face bigger challenges. Stay tuned.
