That fire was on full display against Brighton High School as Ty exploded for 7 catches, 146 yards, and 2 touchdowns despite his team coming up short. He climbed the ladder for a contested score in the end zone and later flashed his playmaking ability with a nasty one-handed grab that turned into a YAC touchdown. Ty felt everything clicking because his routes were crisp, his ball tracking was dialed in, and the chemistry with his quarterback was through the roof. Everything came together for a monster night that showed how quickly he can make a defense pay when he gets rolling.

Performances like that are built long before Friday night, and Ty put in a tough week of practice while spending plenty of time studying film. He watched defensive tendencies and examined how opposing corners played coverage, giving himself clues he could use once the game started moving at full speed. That preparation helped him recognize what was coming and allowed his physical tools to take over instead of having to guess his way through each matchup.

Speed and route running have become Ty's biggest areas of improvement since last season. He has gotten faster while developing quicker, more efficient breaks that allow him to change direction without wasting movement. The adversity surrounding the Brighton loss taught Ty something valuable about how far he believes his game can go. Instead of allowing disappointment to bury the positives, he came away understanding that obstacles have to be attacked and mistakes have to become lessons. He believes pushing himself every week will continue opening doors for growth, and that mindset gives him a strong foundation when things don't go exactly as planned.
