Brendan is a crafty athletic combo guard with sneaky change of pace speed. Brendan is a dynamic triple-threat sniper with a beautiful catch-and-shoot touch and explosive off the bounce, using that long wingspan and strong handles to get the shots he wants or finish strong at the rim. Brendan is an unselfish player always looking to get his teammates involved. He mixes it up on the boards and is a pest on defense, thriving at disrupting things with that size and wingspan.
This past season, Brendan averaged .13 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds per game on jv. The most motivating thing that will help moving forward was this past season was when Brendan was put on jv and never got to see the varsity court his freshman year. Brendan's goal for this season is to become a starter on his high school team by working his way up and out hustling everyone in his way. Brendan is on a mission not only to make varsity but to make a big impact there.
Playing AAU for the Wisconsin Playmakers, Brendan's goals are to become a more consistent shooter, play at a calmer pace, and create opportunities for himself. Brendan improved his athleticism and IQ on defense over the summer, which will certainly impact his performance this coming season.
Something that fuels Brendan on the court is when he gets in a rhythm and he can just play his game. Â
Brendan has been getting a lot better at playing at his own pace and doesn't let others speed him up when times get stressful.
A coach can expect an insanely hard worker who is willing to do anything to help the team. Brendan is an energy guy who will always pick up his teammates and be vocal on the court. Â
Brendan sees himself at a D2 level, potentially D1.
I assess that Brendan is loaded with the potential to excel on the next level with the right fit that utilizes his skill set. The best part is Brendan continues to elevate his skills and pushes himself to stay hungry. Brendan had a summer of success that will certainly fuel him this season and beyond. I see him giving 110% to earn everything he gets out there and that is a statement of Brendan's character. And that chip on his shoulder for not seeing any time on varsity is extra motivation to be better and better while making a statement.
