Luke is a sturdy, dependable interior force who plays with strength, balance, and a clear understanding of his role. As a center, he does his work close to the rim, finishing when opportunities are there and staying active around the basket. He keeps things simple and effective, using his size to battle inside, secure position, and convert high percentage looks. Rebounding is where his impact shows up most consistently. Luke tracks the ball well off the rim, stays engaged on every shot, and makes second chances hard to come by. His focus continues to be scoring more efficiently around the basket and owning the glass, two areas that directly impact winning.

After averaging 3.7 points and 3.7 rebounds last season, Luke has elevated his game, now averaging 10.6 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while improving his energy on both ends. That growth reflects increased confidence and comfort playing through contact. His rebounding numbers stand out statewide, currently ranked 9th in Michigan through all divisions and 6th in Di4, a testament to consistency and effort. Confidence and the ability to go get a bucket have been the biggest improvements, and development remains centered on continuing to grow as a scorer while strengthening defensive habits.

After a difficult season, Luke’s focus has been on proving that this team can compete and improve together. He wants the team to get better every day, and that mindset carries into how he plays and prepares. Once the ball goes up, he is fully locked in, gobbling up big rebounds, timely finishes, and and-one opportunities that swing momentum. When facing adversity, Luke clears his head, moves on, and focuses on the next play.

There are no shortcuts in his approach. He is committed to steady improvement, expanding his offensive skill set, and continuing to make his mark as a rebounder who can be counted on every night. While interest has not arrived yet, the production, growth, and work ethic point toward a player moving in the right direction.
