Tyler is a fierce competitor built for both ends of the floor. With a 6’11 wingspan, he’s a versatile combo guard who can switch between the 1–3 and even step in at the 4 or 5 when needed. His defensive motor and ability to pressure opponents across positions make him a nightmare matchup, while his athleticism and length allow him to attack, create, and disrupt plays all game long. Whether locking down his man or making tough buckets in transition, Tyler plays with intensity and heart, giving everything he has to help his team win.
This past season was a transition year for Tyler after transferring into a more competitive league as a junior. He played behind an experienced roster, which limited his stats but elevated his understanding of the game and taught him how to compete at a higher level. He averaged steady minutes and made his impact felt with consistency, defensive effort, and high-energy play. That experience built his confidence and improved his decision-making on both ends, setting him up for a bigger role in the upcoming year.
Tyler’s offseason focus has been on expanding his offensive skill set while maintaining his defensive edge. He’s been working on his shooting mechanics, ball-handling, and consistency in making quick decisions, ensuring he can impact every possession. With the guidance of his AAU coach, Brandon Bracy, and the Team Rampage program, Tyler has embraced the advice to “keep stacking days,” knowing that consistent effort will draw the attention of coaches. That progress was on full display during the Cali-Live tournament, where recruiting activity around him started to heat up. He delivered an impressive four-game stretch highlighted by a 27-point outing on 6-of-8 shooting from three, along with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals in a 66-39 win. Over the weekend, he also had a 16-point game, combined for 22 rebounds through all games, and threw down a huge dunk in overtime of the Championship game, performances that showed his ability to rise in big moments.
For Tyler, the most impactful part of this past year was stepping into new roles and learning from both seasoned teammates and tougher opponents. That challenge forced him to grow as a competitor and as a leader. He describes his game as all-around and team-driven. He scores when needed, defends with purpose, and constantly works to create for others. What fires him up most is the thrill of competing at a high level and making the type of plays that spark his teammates.
When facing adversity, Tyler stays locked in, focusing on the next play and using every challenge as an opportunity to improve. His recruiting process is gaining momentum, and he’s looking for a program that values toughness, versatility, and a relentless work ethic. With his length, energy, and ability to guard multiple positions while contributing offensively, he’s a prospect colleges won’t be able to overlook for long.
Off the court, Tyler enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and finding ways to grow both as a player and a person. He’s committed to bringing intensity, discipline, and a coachable mindset to every opportunity, knowing the best is yet to come.
Tyler’s size, length, and defensive versatility immediately stand out, making him an asset for any system that values two-way play. His ability to pressure multiple positions defensively, run the floor, and create offense for himself or others gives coaches a player they can trust in high-intensity situations. He brings energy that elevates teammates and a willingness to do whatever is needed for the team.
With his wingspan, athleticism, and improving offensive consistency, Tyler projects as a high-ceiling guard who can thrive at the next level. Expect him to become a reliable defensive stopper who can also stretch the floor and push the tempo. As he continues to build confidence and polish his offensive game, he has the potential to be a multi-positional impact player who contributes across the board and should earn the attention of college coaches even more. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
