K’Lum brings a fiery edge every time he steps on the court. A powerful slasher with a smooth middy, he thrives on getting downhill, finishing through traffic, and setting the tone defensively. His toughness, grit, and willingness to embrace the dirty work and sparks energy for his entire team. He doesn’t just play hard, he plays with purpose, always looking to impact the game whether scoring, defending, or lifting up his teammates.
This past season, he averaged 9 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block per game, showcasing his ability to stuff the stat sheet in multiple ways. His confidence was his biggest improvement, allowing him to finish stronger and defend with even greater consistency. Now, he’s elevating his perimeter game, focusing on three-point shooting, change of pace with the ball, and footwork. Learning from the seniors taught him how to lead with maturity, and his steady work ethic and relentless defense earned him the trust of coaches and teammates alike.
K’Lum’s offseason had a major highlight of receiving an invite to the Crossroad Elite Camp under USA Basketball coach Don Showalter, a testament to his growth and potential. Looking ahead, he’s set on raising his averages to 18 points and 7 rebounds per game while continuing to be a defensive gem. He thrives most in high-energy, high-pressure gyms where the crowd is loud and the intensity is high; it’s in those environments that his game shines brightest.
Adversity fuels him. Growing up with a single mother, K’Lum learned resilience early, and that toughness translates directly to the way he competes. He doesn’t back down, using every challenge as fuel. The best advice he’s ever received is to “be a leader,” and he embodies that with his effort, voice, and commitment to uplifting his teammates.
Off the court, he values time with his mom, enjoys watching TV shows, and loves the grounding balance of family life. It’s that mix of homegrown toughness and humble leadership that makes him such a reliable and fiery competitor.
I assess that K’Lum’s ability to slash, defend, and bring nonstop energy makes him a difference-maker. His defensive intensity and willingness to do the little things ensure he always finds ways to impact games. For a program, he provides not just production but also toughness and leadership that elevate everyone around him.
As he expands his perimeter game and ball-handling, expect K’Lum to evolve into a versatile two-way guard who thrives under the lights. His motor, resilience, and team-first fire make him a player who can handle big moments and lead from the front, someone coaches will want in the heat of battle. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
