Marcus is a fierce competitor that's gritty, explosive guard who thrives in controlling tempo, he picks apart defenses with confident drives, a smooth middy, and the ability to knock down threes when it counts. He blends physicality with finesse, attacking with purpose and elevating his team through every possession. His relentless rebounding at the guard spot sets him apart, giving his team extra chances and helping anchor both ends. While his right-hand remains his primary weapon, Marcus has shown noticeable growth using his left, making him even more difficult to predict and defend.

This past season, Marcus averaged a commanding 15.5 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 block per game, numbers that reflect his ability to impact the game in every facet. His biggest improvement came from his confidence in attacking off the bounce with either hand and staying composed under pressure. With his sights set on further growth, he’s focused this offseason on developing elite driving moves, shot creation for his teammates, and tightening his handles. What fueled this rise wasn’t just talent, it was the impact of strong coaching. Learning discipline, maximizing strengths, and building true chemistry lit a fire under Marcus and transformed him into a more complete team-first player.

This AAU season, Marcus will playing with UTC FIRE, hungry to compete, improve, and make a name for himself with every tournament. He’s locked in on creating more separation, finishing stronger, and delivering consistent performances. His drive comes from his brothers on the court. his teammates, who push him to work harder and chase wins together. When facing adversity, Marcus stays locked in, encourages his squad, and adjusts with maturity well beyond his years.

Off the court, Marcus enjoys family outings, camping, swimming, golfing, or simply spending time with friends. He finds peace and balance outdoors. That strong foundation gives him the energy and clarity to go all out every time he laces them up.

I assess that Marcus brings toughness, rebounding, and a steady offensive hand to a college program. His ability to create offense, dominate the glass, and lead through effort makes him an immediate difference-maker at the next level.
