Antonio is a dynamic two-way force who can light up the scoreboard while setting the tone defensively. He plays fast, explosive, and aggressive, using speed and athleticism to attack downhill and finish strong at the rim. He is a true three-level scorer who can rise up, get to his spots, and put pressure on the defense in transition. A high flyer who runs the floor extremely well, Antonio mixes it up on the boards, delivers some sweet dimes, and makes his presence felt on every possession. His defensive instincts are uncanny, and that defense sets the tone from the opening tip.
Last season, Antonio averaged 21 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals per game. This season, he has followed it up with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals per game. Those numbers reflect how involved he is on both ends of the floor, scoring, creating, defending, and doing whatever is needed to help his team win.
His biggest improvement has been on ball defense, an area he made a major focus over the summer. He takes pride in guarding the ball, staying in front, and making life uncomfortable for opposing guards. He continues to work on becoming a more effective rebounder, understanding that winning possessions matters just as much as scoring them.
Antonio’s goals are to win a state championship and then do it again. He plays with that mindset every night, focused on team success and holding himself to a high standard as a leader. As a captain, he handles adversity by staying positive, pulling his teammates together, and keeping everyone locked in when things get tight.
What fires him up on the court is haters. That edge shows up in how hard he plays, how aggressively he attacks, and how locked in he is on defense. He feeds off doubt and turns it into fuel.
Antonio has already earned offers from Old Dominion University and Navy, and his game continues to rise. With his speed, athleticism, scoring ability, and defensive mindset, he is a guard who impacts the game in multiple ways and brings real energy on both ends of the floor.
I assess that Antonio brings pace, defensive pressure, and scoring punch from the guard spot. His ability to defend, push tempo, and attack downhill makes him a problem for opponents and a tone setter for his team.
Expect a high motor guard who plays with confidence, edge, and purpose. As his rebounding and overall consistency continue to evolve, Antonio’s impact only rises, giving him the tools to be a difference maker at the next level. The drive and hunger for that state chip are real and worth tracking. Stay tuned.
