6’5, 200lbs, Class of 2026

Columbine HS, CO

Cash is a high-motor machine with the size, strength, and energy to impact the game from start to finish. He’s a two-way problem, crashing the glass, finishing strong, defending with power, and a punishing middy. What makes him stand out is how much he affects the game without needing the ball in his hands. Whether he’s cutting, crashing, talking on defense, or elevating for a putback, Cash plays with a purpose every trip down. His athleticism is real, his instincts are sharp, and his IQ shines through in how he reads the floor and moves within the flow of the offense.

This past season, Cash averaged a strong 19.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game, showing just how well-rounded his game has become. His biggest improvement came in the leadership department. He became a better vocal presence on the floor, setting the tone and helping guide his squad into the playoffs, a major step forward from the year before. Now, he’s focused on stretching his game out beyond the arc and learning to change speeds more effectively. He already knocks down shots in the midrange with confidence. Adding more consistency from deep will only make him tougher to guard.

Cash plays for the P.L.U.T.O. Prospects on the AAU circuit and is locked in on winning the rest of their games and earning offers. He’s especially looking forward to their last session in South Carolina, where he’ll get the chance to show out in front of more eyes. Heading into his junior season, he’s already thinking about the trip to Florida and making a deep playoff run with Columbine.

What fires him up most on the court is trash talk. That kind of energy flips a switch. When facing adversity, he stays calm under pressure and makes adjustments on the fly, trusting what’s worked and leaning on his teammates to keep pushing forward. The best advice he’s ever been given is, “You can’t be mad at the results that didn’t come when you never put the work in.” And Cash puts the work in, day after day.

Off the court, he enjoys spending time with family, hanging out with friends, or kicking back with a good movie. Cash knows how to reset and come back hungry.

I assess that Cash brings a physical edge and non-stop energy that makes him a difference-maker on both ends. He scores without forcing, rebounds through contact, and brings toughness every game. With his athleticism, midrange touch, and hustle, he’s a strong piece for any college program looking for a big guard who can lead and battle.

As Cash continues to build consistency from deep and learn to change speeds, his all-around game is going to keep climbing fast. He already produces at a high rate, and with his mindset, work ethic, and physical tools, there’s a lot more still coming. Coaches should be paying close attention; Cash Boykin is built for big moments. Stay tuned for a monster season ahead as he's on a mission to let his game speak loud and clear. He's next-level ready.
