Fred is a dynamic shooter with ice in his veins and a motor that never stops. He rain

s shots with confidence, whether off the catch or the dribble, and his ability to get to his spots and create easy buckets makes him a constant threat. Calm under pressure, he doesn’t let defenders speed him up, using crafty moves and patience to break them down. What makes him even more dangerous is his feel for the game, a high-IQ playmaker who thrives on making his teammates better, always willing to dish out 20 assists rather than chase 50 points.

This past season, Fred averaged 8.9 PPG, 3.6 APG, 1.2 RPG, and 1 SPG on the AAU circuit. His biggest improvement was on the defensive end, where he turned into a gritty stopper. “I don’t care who’s in front of me, I’m going to get in his chest and do my best to not let him score”, a mentality that has fueled his rise. His breakout moment came when his high school was 0–4, and his coach finally gave him a chance. Fred responded with a flawless 19-point performance on 100% shooting, snapping the skid and lifting his team’s confidence. Now, he’s focused on getting stronger and more physical to go toe-to-toe with bigger opponents.

Recently, Fred showcased his growth during Session 2 in Kansas City: Game 1 (14 points, 1 assist, 3 rebounds), Game 2 (10 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds), and Game 3 (13 points, 2 assists, 2 rebounds). That consistency and ability to produce in multiple ways validate why he’s tough to guard and valuable to his squad. His goals are for more than just team wins; Fred is looking forward to playing in higher-level circuits, gaining national exposure, and starting conversations with college coaches.

What separates Fred is his mentality. Being undersized doesn’t bother him; it fuels him. He thrives on taking charges, pumping energy into his team, and setting the tone as a leader on the floor. The best advice he’s received is, "Being 2x smaller means working 2x harder." That’s the edge he brings into every game, every rep, and every possession.

Family also drives Fred’s fire. The passing of his uncle, who once had his own shot at D1, motivates him to keep pushing toward his dream of playing at the next level, carrying on what was left unfinished.

Off the court, Fred enjoys fishing, unwinding with 2K, and working out in the gym. But make no mistake: Basketball is his life. From sunup to sundown, everything revolves around his game, and that dedication shows every time he steps on the floor.

I assess that Fred’s lethal jumper, ability to control tempo, and gift for creating plays make him a guard that can immediately impact a program.
