Polk Christian Prep, FL

Shemar is an explosive, fearless, and flat-out electric force that is relentless, blending flash with fire every time he steps on the court. His game lives at the intersection of speed and control, capable of breaking defenders down off the bounce, blowing by with a quick first step, and finishing strong at the rim. A fierce competitor with the DNA of guards like John Wall and Ja Morant, he brings high-level defensive energy, catch-and-shoot confidence, and a swagger that sets the tone for his team. His ability to lock up on the perimeter, create in transition, and score through traffic makes him a dynamic two-way threat who thrives when the lights are bright and the pressure is on.

This season, Shemar erupted for 21.9 points, 6 assists, and nearly 7 rebounds per game. The numbers speak to his all-around impact on both ends of the floor. His biggest improvement was his confidence he found in his jumper, which opened up his scoring arsenal even further. With his focus now locked in on developing his pull-up game, tightening his handle, and continuing to evolve defensively, the offseason has become a springboard for greater things. What fuels his fire is pure competition, talking trash, going toe-to-toe with anyone in front of him, and letting his game do the talking. He’s motivated by the attention he’s starting to receive and isn’t backing away from the spotlight. The most powerful advice he’s received is“Just be you.”

This AAU season, Shemar is playing with GTE (God Timing Elite), and his goal is to get seen, get noticed, and make a name for himself. He’s especially locked in for the Georgia Sweet 16 live period, a stage where he plans to unleash his full game and put college coaches on high alert. As the upcoming high school season approaches, his eyes are locked on winning big, playing great, and chasing a state title with everything he’s got.

Shemar keeps it real, stays grounded, and doesn’t let adversity throw him off course. Whether it’s a bad game or a tough stretch, he stays cool under pressure and bounces back with even more fire. His presence is felt not just in stats but in the tempo he plays with, the confidence he exudes, and the culture he helps build.

I assess that Shemar’s explosive speed, elite finishing, and gritty defense make him a high-impact guard who can immediately shift the rhythm of a game. His confidence as a scorer and playmaker, combined with a natural edge in competitive settings, makes him a serious asset to any college program. He brings an infectious energy and fearless approach that lifts his teammates and fuels momentum.

Expect Shemar to continue rising as one of the most dangerous and exciting guards in his class. With his relentless work ethic, developing offensive bag, and growing leadership, his ceiling is nowhere near reached. As he refines his shot and adds more layers to his pace and control, his potential to thrive at the next level only becomes more undeniable. This last run will be must-see TV. Pay close attention to this young star as he plans to make this last run one to remember. Stay tuned.
