Tyric is a fierce, high-motor point guard who brings intensity, leadership, and toughness to every inch of the court. A pass-first-floor general with elite court vision and a deep understanding of the game, Tyric thrives on playmaking, setting the tone with his voice, and making every possession count. What separates him is his ability to completely change the pace of the game on both ends, locking up the ball handler, jumping passing lanes, and turning stops into fast-break buckets. He sees the whole floor, delivers dazzling passes, and controls the tempo with poise. Add in his relentless hustle and vocal leadership, and you’ve got a point guard coach's trust to run the show and hold teammates accountable.

In 16 games this past season, Tyric averaged 14 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3.3 steals per game, including a career-high 39-point performance. His impact wasn’t just statistical; it was emotional. Stepping away from his high school team mid-season gave him a renewed confidence and allowed him to pour more into individual training, elevating his skills and maturing his approach. This spring, he’s averaging 14 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals with Tennessee Run and EKY Focus on the Connect Hoops AND1 Circuit, showing his growth as a consistent two-way weapon. He’s taken pride in elevating his defense, adding more rebounds, more steals, and more stops to his game, and it’s clear he’s not backing down from the next level.

Tyric’s focus now is on evolving his 3-point shot (already at a respectable 34%) and increasing his vertical and explosiveness. He’s hyped to have a strong showing at the VEA Finals and wants to help both AAU teams win while preparing himself for the college level. His ideal fit is a program with a structured system and coaches who value both discipline and development. What fuels him most is locking down a scorer, flipping it into a fast break, and being the spark his team needs when the game gets tight. When facing adversity, he keeps a calm mind and makes adjustments, always seeking solutions over frustration.

The best advice he’s ever received is, “Stay on your feet, never jump on a pump fake. Always put a body on someone and box out.” That old-school mindset carries into everything he does, including his work ethic, focus, and attention to the little things. Off the court, Tyric enjoys reading, gaming, and staying in the gym with his close circle, always working and always ready.

I assess that Tyric brings college-level qualities with his defensive awareness, playmaking instincts, and leadership. His ability to spark offense from defense and command the floor gives him the type of impact that every coach values. He’s built for structure and thrives in tough, physical games.

As he continues to improve his outside shot and add athletic explosiveness, Tyric’s already well-rounded game will only become more dangerous. Expect him to be a reliable, system-ready guard who makes his presence felt on both ends. He’s not just built to contribute, he’s built to lead.
