Jason is an electric, high-motor guard with the kind of game that grabs your attention fast. He’s a fierce three-level scorer who can blow past defenders with shifty quickness or pull up with on a dime. Whether he’s bringing the rain from deep, punishing defenders with a pull-up middy, or finishing at the rim with purpose, Jason always finds a way to impact the game. What makes him even more special is his presence on the defensive end, he brings swagger, grit, and relentless energy, defending multiple positions with toughness and pride. Add in his ability to rebound, make smart reads, and create offense off the bounce, and it’s easy to see why he’s a complete guard with college-level potential written all over him.
This past season he averaged 15.4 points, 3 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 2 steals per game, Jason totaled 339 points on the year and hit 40 threes. His consistency and leadership helped Beth-Center reach the playoffs for the first time in 15 years, and his efforts earned him a spot on the Post-Gazette First Team All-Section as the only non-senior on the list. He’s just 131 points away from hitting the 1,000-point milestone, and that fire to keep climbing fuels him every day. This offseason, he’s focused on a strength and skill development program aimed at boosting his physicality, consistency, and impact on both ends. He’s not playing AAU this summer, but the time off from travel ball hasn’t slowed him, he’s in the gym, in the weight room, and in full pursuit of growth. His goals for next season are to win their section, make another playoff run, and win WPIAL 2A Player of the Year honors.
Jason is playing with passion and purpose. He approaches adversity with a positive mindset and relentless work ethic. Whether it’s early-morning lifts or late-night shooting sessions, he’s putting in the effort few are willing to match. Off the court, he enjoys spending time with his friends and enjoys the simplicity of small-town life, always keeping his faith and focus front and center. His mindset is mature, and his motivation runs deep, he believes anything is possible, and he’s doing the work to back it up.
I assess that Jason brings a fierce mix of scoring, toughness, and leadership that any program would value. His versatility, work ethic, and ability to defend and produce at a high level make him a true two-way threat. He plays with purpose, trusts his preparation, and competes with consistent energy, traits that translate smoothly to the next level.
As Jason continues to build his frame and evolve his game, his stock will rise even more. He’s already proven he can lead, produce, and impact winning. With another year of development and exposure, he could turn into a hidden gem pickup for a college program looking for a gritty, explosive guard who brings it every day. He’s built for more. He’s hungry and determined to show it. Stay tuned.
