On defense, he brings the same focus and energy, anticipating passes, cutting off driving lanes, and turning stops into scoring opportunities. Whether he’s running the offense or playing off the ball, Landon makes smart reads and executes with purpose.

This past season, Landon averaged 10.8 points per game while shooting 50% from the field, 32% from three, and 61% from the line, adding 2.1 assists, 1.0 steals, and just 1.0 turnovers per game. His biggest improvement came in pushing the pace and confidently taking contested shots. In aau Big Shots tournament play, he’s shown the ability to put up big numbers, leading all scorers with 63 total points and 21.0 points per game in a recent event. This offseason, he’s committed to improving his ball-handling, his free-throw shooting, and his passing to become an even more complete floor leader. His AAU goals included averaging 18 points per game, and while he fell short statistically, the growth in his all-around game was clear, both in production and in confidence.

What fires Landon up most is a close game, when every possession matters and the margin for error disappears. Stealing the ball and scoring in clutch moments is where he thrives. When facing adversity, he takes a step back, collects himself, and comes back stronger. Guided by coaching that emphasizes effort, defense, and persistence, he’s learned that free throws can win games and that 100% effort is unacceptable. Off the court, he’s a student of the game, determined to keep building his basketball IQ, and focused on developing into the kind of player coaches can rely on every single time he steps on the floor.
