San Marcos HS, TX

Cash is a master playmaker, a fierce floor general whose elite basketball IQ, quick-trigger vision, and relentless competitive fire set him apart every time he steps on the court. He commands the game with poise, sees plays before they happen, and delivers dimes with pinpoint accuracy. Whether it's slicing through a defense or sparking a run with a full-court press, he’s always two steps ahead. More than just a scorer or passer, he’s a high-level decision-maker who lifts the play of everyone around him. With dazzling dimes, he fuels his team. He’s vocal, fearless, and locked in on one thing: winning. No role is too small, and no task is too gritty. If it helps his team win, Cash is all in, 94 feet, both ends, all game.

Numbers don't lie. In 2024, Cash led all of Central Texas 6A in assists, averaging 6.9 per game. He put up 569 points, 156 assists, and 65 steals in his senior campaign, earning First Team All-District honors and runner-up for MVP in one of Texas’ most competitive districts. He helped make school history with the most wins ever by a San Marcos player, with 104 career victories in his four varsity seasons. That includes a Texas 6A Elite 8 playoff run in 2023 and another deep push in 2024. He was also named to the Zaxyb’s Christmas Classic All-Tournament Team and selected to compete in the prestigious San Antonio Sports All-Star Game. Off the court, he’s grounded and focused, and his biggest priority this offseason is to build his body in the weight room while finding the right JUCO fit where he can grow, compete, and prove he belongs at the D1 or D2 level.

His game is fueled by more than just stats. It’s built on passion. What drives Cash is seeing his teammates succeed, making the extra pass, hearing the crowd react, and bringing the energy that shifts momentum. He handles adversity by leaning on his support system and being the teammate others can count on. When things go wrong, he’s the first one to refocus and lead the charge on the next play, a mindset that speaks volumes about his maturity and leadership.

I assess that Cash has everything a college program needs in: a point guard , vision, toughness, selflessness, and a winning mindset. His ability to control the tempo, lead vocally, and adapt to any defensive scheme makes him an instant asset. He's the type of guard who builds chemistry, sets a tone, and raises the ceiling of a team.

Cash is just getting started. With a JUCO path in mind and a mission to keep evolving physically and mentally, he’s poised to make a major impact at the next level. Expect him to shine in the right system, one that values leadership, high IQ, and a fire that never burns out. Cash is hungry and determined to validate that he can not only play at the next level, but thrive there. The coach that bets on this gem will get a steal of an athlete that will make huge impact.
