Joseph is explosive off the bounce and a crafty finisher . Joseph excels getting in the seasms and absolutely punishing defenders at will. But Joseph is a triple threat sniper with unlimited range. Joseph is also a dazzling passer with incredible court vision and a solid defender. Joseph even manages to be a force on the boards.
This past season Joseph averaged 18 points, 4.3 assists, 4.5 rebounds, 1.8 steals earning League V Player of the Year and All-County while shooting, 46% fg, 385 from three and 79.8% ft.
Building his overall strength and midrange game was Joseph's focus after the season. and It has allowed him to better finish through contact while being more of a three level scorer.. Joseph's goal this upcoming season is win the county championship and the LIC. Personally, Joseph wants to at minimum win Player of the Year and All-County again, in addition to reaching 1,000 career points.
Their loss in the second round of playoffs to Bayport has fueled Joseph this whole off-season. Joseph's desire to play in college is another reason why he continues to push himself everyday and is currently speaking and visiting with a number of colleges , trying to figure out the right fit for him.
Last night Joseph led his team to an incredible 15 point comeback win, with hot shooting and dropping dimes like candy in jaw-dropping style. Joseph viewed himself as the biggest competitor on the court and hates to lose. Once they started losing Joseph knew he needed to switch gears and change everything that wasn't working.. Joseph's teammates were doing a great job getting into the right spots to where he could expose the defense. As a point guard Joseph values facilitating as much as scoring , if not more.
Joseph feels it was great to start the fall season off with a win but, there is always room for improvement and they will continue to work on all aspects of the game in order to achieve their goals.
The assessment is this stud has set the stage for another breakout season as his stock is likely to go through the roof if this trend continues. . Joseph's all-around game is so aggressive it produces high level results . Joseph's intangibles alone cause all sorts of problems for opponents. Don't let this size fool you cause Joseph is fearless and has a fierce competitive edge. This will be quite a race to the finish you won't want to miss. Stay tuned.
