Rayan is a dynamic three-point sniper with a beautiful rainmaker with unlimited range from deep, who demands attention the moment he gets space. He is a strong ball handler and anything but one-dimensional. He uses his size and strength to attack the lane with intent, finishing strong even through contact. He can drop sweet dimes when the help comes, brings real value as a savvy on-ball defender, and is not afraid to mix it up on the boards. His game carries confidence and edge, allowing him to impact possessions in multiple ways without forcing the action.
He plays the shooting guard spot with purpose, knowing exactly where he wants to get on the floor. From the middy to behind the arc, he gets to his spots with control and balance. His jumper is Di1 level smooth and consistently stretches coverage, opening driving lanes for himself and others. He understands spacing, timing, and how to keep the offense flowing. While he continues to work on tightening his handles and finishing even stronger at the rim, he is already in a solid place and building from there with each rep.
The growth from last season to now has been clear. At Utah Prep, Rayan averaged 12 points and 4 rebounds per game. This season at Mode Prep, he has elevated that to 18 points per game and 5 rebounds, coming off a strong Grind Session stretch where he averaged 22.5 points per game. His best games have come in competitive settings, including a 30-point, 6-assist performance against Elite Prep out of Arizona and a 20-point, 5-rebound outing against AZ Compass in the Grind Session. Those performances showed poise, confidence, and the ability to rise when the level of play increases.
One of his biggest improvements has been becoming more athletic and growing into more of a guard. The extra reps are translating now. His shooting has continued to evolve, his movement has improved, and his overall game has taken another step forward. Defense is a major source of energy for him. Getting stops, guarding his matchup, and seeing teammates succeed fuel him just as much as scoring.
His goals are to finish the season averaging 20+ points and 7 rebounds, establish himself as a top defender in the Grind Session, and consistently stand out. Beyond that, he is focused on being recruited by coaches at the highest level, including strong JUCO programs along with D1and D2 opportunities.
When facing adversity, Rayan plays through it. He comes back stronger, stays locked in, and looks to grow through each moment. He treats every block as part of the process and keeps moving forward with intent.
He currently holds strong interest from D1 JUCOs and national D1 JUCO programs across the West Coast.
I assess that Rayan brings size, shooting, and versatility to a college program. His beautiful rainmaker with unlimited range stretches defenses, while his strength allows him to attack the lane and impact the game beyond the perimeter. He offers scoring, defensive value, and rebounding from the wing.
As his handles and finishing continue to improve, Rayan’s overall impact will keep growing. His size, shot-making, and steady development point to a player capable of making a meaningful impact at the next level. Stay tuned.
