AJ is an electric three-point sniper who thrives off movement, space, and rhythm. Leave him an inch, and it’s three points before you blink. But he’s no one-dimensional shooter, AJ plays with a high-octane motor, hunts rebounds in traffic, and brings instincts to the defensive end, jumping passing lanes and turning defense into offense. Coaches get more than a shooter with AJ, they get a fierce competitor who mixes floor spacing with physicality and brings hustle every time he hit the court. What separates him from others at his position is his unique ability to blend confidence, poise, and relentless effort while maintaining one of the most dangerous catch-and-shoot weapons in any gym.

Last high school season, AJ posted 6.6 points per game on an efficient 47.1% shooting, but he knew he could give more, and he’s doing just that this AAU season. With Team 1848 on the UA Rise circuit, he's elevating his game to another level, averaging 16.1 points per game, torching the nets at a blistering 45% from deep, and knocking down 81% at the line. That bounce-back surge came from a commitment to expand his game, attacking the rim more with explosive moves when the defense is scrambling to slow his outside fire, drawing contact, and refusing to rely solely on perimeter looks. His biggest improvement has been his ability to get downhill, draw fouls, and convert with craft and control. Now, he’s focused on creating off the dribble, adding diverse finishes around taller defenders, turning tough shots into routine ones, and growing his defensive swagger even more.

AJ first showed his versatility and growth at the Prep Hoops Battle of the Lakes, where he averaged 14.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game, validating the work put in, resulting in a breakout summer. Then came a bigger statement at the NY2LA Midwest Classic DII Showcase, where he exploded for 17 points and 5 rebounds in a hard-fought 65–61 win over a tough Wisconsin Playmakers E32 squad. These performances weren’t just flashes, they were proof that AJ is answering the call to elevate.

He’s looking forward to even more opportunities next school season, playing with new teammates, taking on a bigger role, and bringing everything he’s building this offseason back to Notre Dame Academy. What fuels AJ is the belief and support of those who stand behind him. He feels most locked in when the noise fades, and all that’s left is him, the court, and the basket. In the face of adversity, he turns to God, relying on prayer and faith to carry him through the weight of pressure. He’s mentally tough and coachable, living by the mindset that one play doesn’t define a game. With a short-term memory and a long-term vision, AJ has learned to flush mistakes and refocus instantly.

Off the court, AJ enjoys fishing, hunting, hanging with friends, and spending quality time with his girlfriend. His balance off the court is like his growing control and confidence on it; he is calm and steady but ready to strike.

I assess that AJ brings more than just a sweet shooting touch. He brings toughness, IQ, and a blue-collar edge that helps teams win close games. His energy on defense, rebounding effort, and ability to stretch the floor make him a high-impact piece in any system. As he builds his ability to create off the bounce and his determination to evolve defensively, expect his value to multiply at both ends.

Still in the early stages of his rise, AJ's impact and stock continue to rise with momentum, confidence, and a clear hunger to prove himself. His shot will always be a calling card, but it’s his growing versatility, mental toughness, and relentless work ethic that will push him to new heights. Expect him to be one of the most dangerous threats on the floor each time out and a force to be reckoned with in the years to come. Stay tuned.
