Devon is a versatile, fiery guard who plays the game with energy, precision, and purpose. His basketball IQ jumps off the floor, and so does his leadership. A confident shot-maker who thrives under pressure, he’s dangerous in the midrange, comfortable beyond the arc, and smart enough to break down any defense with poise and control. What separates him from other guards is how sharp his decision-making is, he doesn’t force, he flows. Whether he's dissecting ball screens, calmly creating in chaos, or setting up teammates with dazzling passes, Devon brings a composed intensity that commands respect. He reads the floor like a seasoned vet and is always two steps ahead of the play.
Defensively, Devon is all grit. He competes every possession, embraces tough matchups, and is focused on evolving into a true two-way threat. With UTC Fire 17U, he’s already made noise this AAU season, helping lead his squad to a statement win over Rod Wave Elite. His development is dialed in: finishing through contact, improving footwork, making quicker reads, and becoming elite off the bounce. This summer is personal. He’s locked in, laser-focused, and chasing that first official offer.
Devon has been on varsity since his freshman year and has elevated each season. He took on a bigger role as a sophomore, becoming the sixth man and averaging 11 points per game while shooting a blistering 51% from deep, earning 2nd Team All-Conference honors. He carried that momentum into a breakout AAU summer, where his recognition skyrocketed. Entering his junior year with high confidence, Devon once again earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors, led his team in three-point makes and percentage, and posted 13.2 points per game. While it wasn’t quite the leap he envisioned, he knows the real proving ground is now. With camp invites from colleges already in hand, this AAU season with UTC Fire National is about making it impossible to be overlooked.
He’s driven, determined, and determined to prove himself right. Every bucket, every stop, and every decision on the floor is part of the mission—to earn that first offer and show he belongs at the next level.
I assess that Devon’s combination of floor vision, shooting efficiency, and clutch instincts makes him a natural fit for college programs seeking a steady, fearless guard. His commitment to becoming a two-way force adds even more value, especially with his growth as a leader.
Expect Devon to stand out on the circuit this summer as a guard with poise, polish, and something to prove. With the way he’s developing and the chip on his shoulder fueling him, he is hungry for that first offer. Stay tuned.
