His shifty ball-handling allows him to break down opponents off the dribble, while his scrappy, high-energy play keeps him active on both ends of the floor. Whether he’s draining a clutch three or setting up teammates with crafty passes, his game is built on skill, effort, and a relentless desire to impact winning.
This season, Landon’s biggest improvement came in his speed and quickness off the dribble, making him even tougher to contain. His ability to get into his shot faster and attack defenses with more explosiveness has made a noticeable difference. However, Landon knows there’s always more to elevate, and his focus this offseason is improving his finishing at the rim and developing more confidence in his left hand. Putting in extra work has been the most rewarding part of his journey, and he’s locked in on sharpening every detail of his game.
With AAU season approaching, Landon’s mindset is to get better. His focus is on translating his skill work into game situations, ensuring that every rep leads to more impact on the floor. A major opportunity lies ahead in the Sarasota Shootout from March 7th-9th, where he’ll test himself against top competition. Beyond that, his sights are set on making his mark on the varsity level, proving he can contribute in any setting.
The pressure of the big moment fuels Landon's fire. When the game is on the line, he wants the ball in his hands, ready to rise to the occasion. That competitive edge keeps him hungry, and when adversity strikes, he turns to prayer, finding the strength to keep pushing forward. The best advice Landon has ever received is, " No matter the day, no matter the circumstances, keep working. " This will continue to drive his growth.
I assess that Landon’s skill set fits well with any system looking for a high-level shot-creator and floor-spacer. Landon’s ability to shoot off the dribble and spot-up makes him a constant threat, while his quickness allows him to break down defenses and generate offense. His relentless hustle and scrappy nature ensure he’s not just a scorer but a gem who competes hard every possession. As he continues to improve his finishing and off-hand development, he’ll become an even more complete offensive weapon.
Landon’s development is on the rise, and his potential is starting to hit a nice stride.
