Joshua Avery Coles

Writer: Kevin MosesKevin Moses

Joshua Avery Coles @AveryColes33 ,6'10, 235lbs, class of 26 from White House Heritage High School is a dominant force to be reckoned with when he locks in. With his size he can be a matchup nightmare. Great touch and footwork around the rim. The problem comes for defenders when he moves outside and knocks down threes. This stud can really stretch the floor. Solid court vision and IQ is also in his bag of skills which Joshua uses in making the right pass or just being that imposing force himself. Joshua can really work those boards too. Defensively he blocks or alters alot of shots. It's fun watching him challenge offensive players trying to get shots off over him. Access denied!  The biggest improvement in the AAU circuit was Joshua three point shooting. That skill takes him into a completely different class. During this AAU run Joshua left the Stars u15 in blk, reb and shooting percentage. Beast mode y'all. Last season Joshua was unable to play the regular season due to injury butore than made up for that in the AAU session. His best game was during the NCAA live period where he went off for 22pts. Joshua's goals for the upcoming season is to keep getting stronger and being a true leader on and off the court as he leads his team on a championship run. Joshua is a real game changer and I believe beating him will be a challenge. Coaches should know Joshua wants to be apart of a program that will help him continue to develop into an unstoppable big man that can continue to stretch the floor while mastering his size. Joshua is a proven leader and winner on and off the court and can elevate any program instantly. Joshua is certainly a D1 talent with a tremendously high ceiling. Gotta get to the gym and catch his show.
