Derrick is an electric playmaker whose game pops the moment he steps on the field. Explosive speed, fierce competitiveness, and dynamic movement define everything he does. He is a blur in space with hands you can trust and an edge that never fades. What separates Derrick from others at his position is how fast he processes the game. Before the snap, he is already scanning the defense, identifying leverage, adjusting routes, and finding windows. Once the ball is in his hands, it is sudden. He attacks angles with confidence, turns routine touches into momentum changers, and brings game-breaking ability every time special teams or the offense calls his number. Coaches can expect relentless energy, leadership through action, and a player who lives for big moments.

Derrick finished with 1,000 all-purpose yards and 14 total touchdowns, stacking 803 receiving yards with 8 scores, 345 return yards, and 212 rushing yards with 3 more touchdowns. That impact is even more impressive considering he did not play offense last season and still added 2 return touchdowns. His biggest improvement has been trusting his speed and his hands together, turning confidence into consistency. This offseason is about continuing to work, elevating every detail, and proving that last season was only the beginning. The biggest motivation came from a first-round playoff loss that lit a fire and locked in a refusal to lose again. Achievements matter, but the hunger to finish is what drives him.
