Mason is a speedy combo guard with athleticism, insane handles with crafty and explosive moves that get him to any spot he chooses, and can simply elevate on a dime for nasty mid-range daggers or fierce finishes at the rim. Mason also has a silky smooth shot from three. Masons describes himself as a playmaking guard who gets everyone involved. Whose greatest strengths are my court vision and ability to make key plays in big moments. With a high IQ and amazing instincts, Mason jumps passing lanes with precise anticipation for quick steals, and with electric speed to burn; Mason is off to races in transition for quick buckles.
This past season Mason averaged 12.1 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.6 assists, and 1.9 steals while shooting 50.4% from 2, 39.4% from 3, and 82.3% from the free throw line. The most motivating thing that happened last season that will push Mason is losing in the sectional finals. Mason got a taste of a deep playoff run and really really wants to get back to that game and win it. Mason's personal goals this season are to make a deep playoff run, win the conference, and be conference POY.
Playing AAU for the Wisconsin Playmakers Prelude 32 2026, Mason's goal for AAU is to be a key player on a winning team that plays at a high level while his main focus will be for improvement to be stronger and more explosive. Mason worked on that all offseason.
The crowd fuels Mason's fire during games and he likes to prove people wrong.
Mason likes to think about the next play and move on from the mistake by making a positive play happen the next time down the floor.
Mason thinks what sets him apart from most players is his playmaking and his ability to lead a team sets him apart from others.
Mason sees himself as a D2 player because other people that he has played with and against went D2, and he did well against them. Mason wants to play at the highest level he can but would be grateful for any opportunities earned.
I assess that Mason is a unique and gifted stud who is a game-changer on both ends of the court. With nice size, blazing speed, strong handles to match the shooting, court vision, and athletic ability, we are next-level ready right now, and Mason's game is still developing while excelling at a high level. If Mason continues to put in high-level work, he will reap high-level rewards. Mason hasn't even peaked yet is already a match-up nightmare. Mason has an extremely high level of potential to be special out there. This will be one to get on big boards right now. Incredible talent. We will be tracking Mason and updating his progress during the season. Stay tuned!
