Greg is a dynamic two-way force with a dangerous offensive arsenal and a smothering defensive presence; he can dictate a game in any way he chooses. He can protect the rim, lock up the opponent’s best player, facilitate the offense, and put the ball in the hoop from anywhere. His shooting range stretches defenses to the breaking point, and when defenders close out, his ability to explode off the bounce makes him a nightmare to contain. Add in that bounce that puts people on posters, and you’ve got an athletic forward who mixes power, finesse, and basketball IQ in a rare package. On defense, he thrives in on-ball matchups and anticipates rotations like a seasoned vet, making him just as lethal without the ball as he is with it.
Last season, despite battling injuries, Greg still averaged 15.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game. His biggest improvement came from learning to read defenders, understanding not just how to make a move, but when. That patience has made his attacks smooth, his finishes fierce, and his ability to get to his spots almost automatic. This AAU season, he elevated even more, averaging 18.2 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 3.3 assists on a blistering 42% from beyond the arc, while facing elite competition like Mokan Elite EYBL at the Recruit Look tournament in Kansas City. The experience elevated his edge and caught the attention of college coaches, which is exactly what he set out to do.
Greg’s offseason focus has been on adding a dominant mid-post game to his arsenal. The goal is to eliminate any weak spots so his offensive game becomes completely unguardable. That approach mirrors his mentality, persistent, determined, and built to come back stronger from every injury he’s faced. He attacks each possession like it could be his last, giving maximum effort on both ends and being the kind of teammate who makes everyone better.
Greg is looking forward to the preseason matchups where he’ll face top in-state talent like Luke Howery, Eric Fiedler, and Christian Williams. He thrives under pressure; if you start talking on the court, it only fuels him more. Off the floor, golf has become his balance, keeping his mind sharp and his competitive nature fed as part of his school’s varsity team.
I assess that Greg’s size, skill set, and mental toughness give him the ability to impact a college program immediately. His ability to shoot over smaller defenders, finish through contact, and defend multiple positions makes him a matchup problem on both ends. He’s equally capable of taking over a game as a scorer or altering it as a defensive anchor.
Expect Greg’s game to keep expanding. With his focus on mid-post scoring and continued physical development, he’s on track to be a complete two-way force who can swing momentum in any situation. The more high-level competition he faces, the more dangerous he’ll become, and with his relentless drive, he’s far from reaching his ceiling. Stay tuned for a monster season ahead.
