Carter is a spark in motion that's electric, crafty, and fearless with the ball in his hands. He plays with a fiery edge, combining quick-twitch instincts with a high IQ that allows him to read defenses and make them pay. His attack-first mindset gives him an explosive presence when he slices through the lane or pulls up with confidence in the mid-range. Carter’s got the feel of a true floor general , always searching for the best shot, breaking defenders down with dynamic footwork, and slipping passes to teammates in rhythm. He’s a natural competitor who thrives on energy, emotion, and the chance to prove himself every time he steps on the floor.

This season, Carter averaged 11.3 points, 1.5 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per game , a strong stat line for a freshman at the high school level. But what stands out even more is how quickly his game is expanding. His biggest improvement was his mid-range pull-up, a weapon he sharpened over the summer and now leans on when defenders overcommit. That scoring versatility is becoming a real problem for opponents, especially when paired with his ability to knock down free throws with confidence. Heading into the offseason, he’s focused on tightening his handle, strengthening his left hand, and getting stronger around the rim—gritty details that will round out his already explosive skill set. His 30-point performance as a freshman sent a message: Carter can bring the heat. He’s driven by competition and fueled by doubt, chasing a gold ball next season while staying locked in on long-term development.

AAU season will bring even more firepower out of Carter. He’ll be playing for both the Mississippi Warriors and HYEP Elite, two platforms that will give him the exposure and stage to show just how dangerous his game really is. His goals aren’t soft, but he wants to dominate, period. Not just compete, not just contribute, but flat-out take over. Whether it’s breaking defenders down off the bounce or playing with edge and urgency, Carter is stepping into this AAU season with something to prove and everything to gain.

Off the court, Carter enjoys staying active and locked in, but basketball stays at the center. What fuels his fire more than anything is trash talk; it flips a switch in him. The moment someone doubts or disrespects, he goes into a different mode. That edge, that chip on his shoulder, is what drives him to get up early, stay late, and push through the grind. When facing adversity, Carter doesn’t panic but slows the game down, stays composed, and trusts his instincts. That calm under pressure is rare for someone so young. The best advice he’s ever taken to heart came from BigRod: “Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard.” It’s more than a quote, but how he trains, how he thinks, how he moves. Driven by passion and a hunger to be among the best out there, Carter pushes himself hard.

I assess that Carter's motor, basketball IQ, and explosiveness are a dangerous combination. His ability to get to his spots and read the floor makes him a threat both as a scorer and playmaker. The fire he plays with is contagious, and it gives his team a boost every time he checks in. He’s the kind of player that gets better the more you throw at him, as pressure brings out his best. Carter’s game fits well into a fast-paced college system that values quick decision-making and guard play with edge. His pull-up game, ball-handling, and vision will open up opportunities at the next level, especially if he continues to build strength and improve his finishing around the rim. Coaches will love his competitiveness, coachability, and ability to change the energy in a game with his play.

Carter is just scratching the surface. With his relentless work ethic and bold mindset, there’s no doubt he’s built for this grind. Expect his numbers to keep climbing, his confidence to keep growing, and his presence on the floor to become louder with every game. His potential? High. His mindset? Unshakable. Carter is setting the tone early and the basketball world should be paying attention. He is must see TV. Stay tuned.
