Nolan is a versatile stretch forward who mixes size, strength, and a smooth skillset to dominate in multiple ways. With his length, he moves with good footwork and crafty touch, using post moves, quick counters, and ball-handling ability that’s rare for his size. He runs the floor with purpose and explodes as a fierce finisher, punctuated by rim-rocking throwdowns. With high IQ, relentless rebounding, and shot-blocking instincts, he impacts both ends. What separates him as a nightmare matchup is the ability to punish defenses with a lethal middy or unleash his smooth shooting touch as he brings the rain from deep. Nolan checks every box, and as he continues to evolve, his ceiling stretches higher with every game.
During his freshman season, Nolan averaged 4.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 0.7 assists, and 0.5 blocks per game while shooting a blistering 51% from the field, 48% from three, and 89% at the free throw line. Over the summer, he elevated his game even further, averaging 23 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 2 assists per contest against strong competition at the Colorado Live Showcase. His biggest improvement has been shooting consistency, particularly from three, along with reading defenses and finding the right moments to attack. His offseason focus is on on-ball defense, decision-making as a secondary playmaker, and elevating his midrange game. Each of these developments reflects his drive to become a complete player, capable of stepping into a leadership role next season and pushing his team forward.
For AAU, Nolan set out to showcase his all-around ability and gain exposure against top competition, goals he accomplished with strong performances. Coaches can expect his energy, unselfishness, and relentless competitive fire every time he steps on the floor. He thrives on momentum-shifting plays, big defensive stops, and feeding off his team’s energy. His ability to stay composed through adversity and trust the hours of work behind him keeps him steady in high-pressure moments. The best coaching advice he’s ever received is, “Control what you can control”. That fuels the mindset that keeps him improving daily.
Off the court, Nolan enjoys time with family and friends or unwinding with video games, but his dedication to his craft remains his core focus. Known as coachable and a strong teammate, he’s locked in on growth and determined to maximize the rare blend of intangibles and skills he brings to the game.
I assess that Nolan’s combination of size, shooting touch, rebounding, and defensive presence gives him the ability to impact a college program immediately. His versatility as both a stretch forward and oversized guard ensures he can slide into multiple roles while bringing elite efficiency and toughness.
With continued growth in decision-making and on-ball defense, Nolan projects as a high-level impact player with breakout potential. His ability to stretch the floor, guard multiple positions, and deliver big-game performances suggests his name will quickly rise on recruiting boards as one of the premier talents in the Class of 2028, even on the national level. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
