Tabren is a dynamic combo guard who's versatile, vocal, and locked in every second he's on the court. With a wingspan that swallows up passing lanes and a nonstop motor, he thrives as both a floor general and a scoring threat. Whether he's running the offense, locking up on defense, or elevating teammates with his energy and voice, Tabren plays with poise and control well beyond his years. His IQ is elite, his reads are quick, and he brings an aggressive two-way presence that sets the tone from tip to buzzer. From finishing at the rim to knocking down midrange shots or burying threes, his offensive bag is loaded, and his teammates feed off his contagious energy and unselfish play. He mixes it up well on the boards and is a strong defender.

This past season, Tabren averaged 14.6 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals per game as the captain of his varsity squad. His biggest improvement was his confidence, lateral quickness, and composure under pressure. Even through adversity, like coming off a painful mid-foot sprain just in time to battle in the semi-regionals, he remained a fearless competitor and playmaker. Now, heading into the offseason, he’s locked in on finishing stronger at the rim and attacking with more control to get to his spots quicker.

Tabren is playing with NLMB Elite 16U on the NXTPro (Puma) Circuit, and his goal is to lead his team to a deeper run than last year with eyes on a Pro16 League spot. His other goals are to earn more offers, stand out against top competition, and continue building his name across the national scene. Next season, he’s fired up to chase a state title and secure personal accolades, but more than anything, he’s motivated by the momentum of a team run and the joy of getting his teammates involved and confident.

Even when facing adversity, Tabren stays composed and clear-headed, focused on leading with energy and lifting everyone around him. His favorite coaching advice is, “Play your game, and don’t let defenders dictate how you play.” This is the standard he plays by. In the classroom, he’s just as elite, with a 4.17 GPA in Honors and AP studies, and he's already secured offers from Ohio University and Fisher College.

I assess that Tabren’s blend of intelligence, leadership, and versatility is tailor-made for a college backcourt. He impacts the game in every phase, on the ball, off the ball, defensively, and emotionally. With his strong GPA and proven ability to lead, he brings more than skill but brings culture.

Expect Tabren’s stock to continue to rise as he continues to build strength, gain exposure, and lead at the highest level, programs across the country will take notice. He’s the player who lifts a team, takes command of the moment, and finds ways to win, no matter the setting. Stay tuned for a breakout season ahead.
