Hadi brings toughness, leadership, and relentless heart. He is gritty, vocal, and completely locked in on doing whatever it takes to win. He doesn’t just run the offense, he commands it. As a high-IQ floor general who plays with unmatched fire, Hadi is a lockdown defender who pressures the ball from baseline to baseline and sets the tone with his energy. Whether he’s raining threes, creating offense for others, or diving for loose balls, Hadi brings that old-school edge with a modern-day motor. He’s an elite shooter, a crafty playmaker, and the kind of player who ignites a team with hustle plays and leadership. It’s not about flash, it’s about impact. And Hadi impacts winning in every way possible.
After averaging 5.5 points per game overall this past season, Hadi turned it up when it mattered most, dropping 10 points per game in the final stretch and 12 points with 7 assists per game once back in the starting lineup, adding 5.4 assists, 3.7 rebounds, 3.5 steals per game, and just 0.6 turnovers, earning his team’s Leadership Award. His biggest improvements were his confidence and three-point shooting, blossoming into a vocal leader and trusted scorer. In the offseason, Hadi is attacking the weight room four times a week, and drilling reads off ball screens while focusing on finishing through bigger defenders. Playing for Unity Sports Academy 17U, he's already breaking out in AAU, averaging 16 points, 7.2 assists, 3.7 steals, and shooting 52% from deep. He’s fired up for events like Hoop Group’s Jam Fests and Big Shots Live in Richmond, where he’s eager to show college coaches the total package.
That chip on Hadi’s shoulder comes from adversity. When benched unexpectedly during the season, he didn’t pout but responded with fire, focus, and a mission to prove he belonged. His response was explosive as he took off and never looked back. Fueled by faith, he embraces adversity and works harder because of it. He’s guided by the belief that attitude, effort, and preparation are always in his control. His goal this season is to help lead Chancellor to states while continuing to evolve his game and elevate those around him. He knows he’s not always the flashiest player on the court, but by the time the final buzzer sounds, he’ll make sure you remember his name.
Off the court, Hadi excels in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA and puts just as much pride into being a great student as he does being a great teammate. He cherishes time with his large family, close friends, and his dog Kobe. He stays grounded, humble, and motivated by love, faith, and the grind.
I assess that Hadi’s elite motor, basketball IQ, and vocal leadership give him the ability to instantly change the temperature of a game. His defensive intensity and selfless playmaking fit perfectly in a college system that values toughness, a team-first culture, and coachability. He raises the ceiling of an entire locker room.
With his relentless mindset, fast-growing skill set, and deep desire to prove himself, Hadi is just scratching the surface of his potential. Expect him to keep leveling up each season, physically, mentally, and emotionally, and make his presence impossible to ignore. Stay tuned.
